Burewala, August 14, 2026:
The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Constituent College Burewala, celebrated Pakistanโs Independence Day with national spirit and enthusiasm. The day began with Quran Khawani at the Campus Masjid, attended by faculty members and staff, followed by a salute from the smartly turned-out security contingent and the main Independence Day ceremony.
Students Zubair Zair, Noor Sehr, Wajeeha Badr, and Zokaif presented Quranic recitation, Naat-e-Rasool ๏ทบ, and speeches highlighting the Two-Nation Theory, Pakistan Movement, and sacrifices of our forefathers. A one-minute silence was also observed in tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan.
In his message, Principal Professor Dr. Zain ul Abdin said that Pakistan was achieved through a great ideology, struggle, and countless sacrifices. He paid special tribute to the Pakistan Army and appreciated the sacrifices and services of its brave soldiers for the defence and security of the country. He emphasized that freedom is both a blessing and a responsibility, urging the younger generation to uphold integrity, unity, and patriotism for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
The celebrations concluded with a Plantation Drive, reflecting the commitment to a greener Pakistan.
Principal Professor Dr. Zain ul Abdin appreciated the Event Organizing Committee, including Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Ashraf, Assistant Professor/ Associate Senior Tutor; Dr. Osama Bin Abdul Hafeez, Lecturer; Dr. Sadia Nazir, Lecturer/Associate Senior Tutor; and Syed Ali Raza, Estate Officer, along with faculty, staff, and students for their valuable contributions and patriotic spirit.
The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the security, progress, prosperity, and stability of Pakistan.
