Burewala (On May 20, 2026): The inauguration ceremony of a newly constructed shade for students was held today at Constituent College Burewala. The shaded sitting area has been established to provide students with a comfortable place to sit and relax on campus during harsh weather conditions.
On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin specially appreciated the support and cooperation extended by Mr. Shehzad Mustafa Chohan, CEO Yaqoob Jewellers, for making this student welfare initiative possible. He stated that such contributions greatly help in creating a better and more student-friendly educational environment.
The Principal also acknowledged the dedicated efforts and excellent coordination of Associate Director Students Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Abubakkar Azmat, and appreciated his active role in successfully organizing the inauguration ceremony and facilitating this positive initiative.
Students warmly welcomed the establishment of the shade and expressed their gratitude to the college administration and Mr. Shehzad Mustafa Chohan for providing this useful facility on campus.

Burewala (On May 20, 2026): A one-day awareness seminar titled “Traffic Awareness and Human Rights” was organized at Constituent College Burewala. A large number of faculty members, administrative staff, and students participated in the seminar.
The distinguished guests included Mr. Wasif Khan Joiya (Sub-Inspector, CCD Circle Burewala), Hafiz Abdul Raqeeb (Sub-Inspector Traffic Warden & Incharge Education Unit Vehari), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram (Principal Government College Burewala), Mr. Shehzad Mustafa Chohan (Executive Member Vehari Chamber of Commerce), and Dr. Ali Akbar from Roha Welfare Trust.
Principal Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin warmly welcomed the honourable guests and termed such educational and awareness programs as the need of the hour. The seminar formally began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ, followed by informative sessions for the participants.
Addressing the seminar, Dr. Muhammad Abu Bakar Azmat said that the main objective of the event was to create awareness among the younger generation regarding traffic rules, human rights, and the importance of becoming responsible citizens. Referring to the teachings of the Holy Quran, he said that Islam promotes humanity, mutual cooperation, goodness, and social welfare while discouraging injustice and wrongdoing.
Hafiz Abdul Raqeeb highlighted the importance of following traffic rules and stated that the use of helmets, seat belts, observing speed limits, and following traffic signals help save lives. He encouraged students to spread traffic awareness in society and remarked, “Better late than never arrive.”
Mr. Wasif Khan Joiya appreciated the efforts of Principal Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin for taking serious measures to protect the younger generation from the menace of drugs. He stated that educational institutions play a vital role not only in imparting education but also in building a safe and morally strong society. He also warned students about the harmful effects of drugs on health, families, and society.
Speaking on human rights, Dr. Ali Akbar said that Roha Welfare Trust encourages students who have a passion for serving humanity and helping others. He further shared that the organization presents “Humanitarian Awards” every year to individuals who render remarkable services for humanity and social welfare.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram paid tribute to the late Rana Asghar Ali Khan, founder of Roha Welfare Trust, for his lifelong services to humanity, social welfare, and promotion of love, brotherhood, and compassion in society. He urged students to adopt moral values, social responsibility, and the spirit of serving humanity alongside their education.
The seminar proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the younger generation regarding traffic awareness, human rights, drug prevention, and social responsibility.

Burewala (May 14, 2026): The Department of Business Administration, University of Agriculture Faisalabad Constituent College Burewala, organized a one-day informative seminar titled “Role of Islamic Finance in Pakistan’s Economic Stability.” A large number of students and faculty members attended the seminar with great interest.

The seminar was graced by distinguished guest speakers including Ms. Nazia Erum (Area Manager, MCB Islamic Bank), Mr. Muhammad Asif (Area Manager, HBL), and Mr. Mubashar Shehzad (Branch Manager, Taqwa Islamic BOP). The speakers elaborated on the practical role of Islamic banking, its significance in economic stability, and the promotion of the Islamic financial system in Pakistan. They shared their professional experiences and valuable insights with the participants.

Principal Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin appreciated the efforts of the Department of Business Administration and stated that the seminar was organized in line with the vision of Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali to promote academic awareness and professional development among students. He highlighted that Islamic finance promotes transparency, fairness, financial inclusion, and sustainable economic growth. He further emphasized the importance of awareness regarding Islamic banking and ethical financial systems to help students better understand modern economic challenges and future opportunities.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Nadeem, Mrs. Saba Nasir (Lecturer Finance), Mr. Muhammad Umair Zulfiqar (Lecturer HRM), and Mr. Umair Rafiq (Lecturer Agribusiness) delivered comprehensive and informative sessions on Islamic financial principles, ethical leadership, agribusiness finance, and the future scope of Islamic banking in Pakistan. Their sessions were highly appreciated by the students and participants.

The Principal especially appreciated the efforts of Ms. Seher Muneer, Lecturer (Agri. Economics), and the faculty members of the Department of Business Administration for successfully organizing the seminar. The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session followed by the distribution of shields and certificates among the guest speakers and participants.

Burewala (May 13, 2026): An awareness seminar titled “Maritime Awareness and Career Opportunities Offered by Pakistan Navy” was organized at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Constituent College Burewala, in collaboration with Pakistan Navy. A large number of undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty members, and staff attended the seminar.
The event began with the national anthem, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ. Dr. Muhammad Abu Bakar, Assistant Professor & Associate DSA, warmly welcomed Lieutenant Muhammad Zeeshan, the Pakistan Navy recruitment team, and other distinguished guests. He emphasized that the seminar was a reflection of the vision of Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, which focuses on youth capacity building and professional guidance, and this seminar was a practical manifestation of that vision

Addressing the participants, Lieutenant Muhammad Zeeshan highlighted Pakistan’s strategic maritime importance, the role of marine resources, maritime security, blue economy, and Pakistan Navy’s contribution to national defense. He also referred to the saying of the Holy Prophet ﷺ:
“One battle at sea is better than ten battles on land.” (Ibn-e-Majah: 2778)
He briefed students about career opportunities in Pakistan Navy, including PN Cadets, Short Service Commission, Medical Cadets, Sailors, and Civilians. He informed that online registration started on May 10, 2026, and the last date to apply is June 14, 2026. Students actively participated and asked questions regarding recruitment and career prospects.
Later, Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin, Principal, Constituent College Burewala, thanked the Pakistan Navy recruitment team for visiting from the Multan Center and appreciated the valuable services of Pakistan Navy and Pakistan’s Armed Forces for the defense of the country. He said Pakistan Navy provides students with an excellent opportunity to build a bright career while serving the nation.
The Principal also appreciated the efforts of the Character Building Society team, especially Dr. Muhammad Abu Bakar, Assistant Professor & Associate DSA, Prof. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Nadeem, Dr. Rana Muhammad Saleem, Assistant Professor, Dr. Sadia Nazir, Lecturer, Ms. Noor Mehboob, Lecturer, and the media team for successfully organizing the seminar.
At the end, the Department of Food Science and Technology arranged an exhibition of super foods and innovative food products, which was highly appreciated by the Principal and Pakistan Navy team.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a commemorative shield to the Principal by Pakistan Navy. Participants termed the seminar an informative and inspiring initiative that promoted patriotism, confidence, and professional motivation among students.

Burewala (May 7, 2026): A vibrant display of innovation and entrepreneurial potential was witnessed at the Constituent College Burewala, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, during the successful organization of the “Business Idea Competition 2026,” where students actively participated and showcased their creative and modern business ideas with great enthusiasm.
The event was graced by distinguished Guests of Honor, Mr. Shahzad Mustafa Chauhan, Executive Member, Vehari Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Abdul Rauf Chaudhry, Executive Member and Former President, Vehari Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Saba Nasir, Lecturer, along with the faculty members of the Department of Business Administration, warmly welcomed the honorable guests. In her remarks, she stated that the objective of organizing this program was to promote entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and innovation among students so that they may effectively present their unique business ideas and emerge as successful business leaders in the future.
During the event, a Business Idea Competition was held in which various student groups presented their innovative, modern, and feasible business plans. The participants demonstrated confidence, professionalism, and strong preparation, which were highly appreciated by the esteemed guests and jury members. The competition highlighted students’ creativity, research skills, and business acumen, providing them with a valuable platform to experience real-world business challenges.
The Worthy Principal, Prof. Dr. Zain ul AbdIn, appreciated the efforts of the organizers and students. He stated that, in line with the vision and guidance of the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, such academic and creative activities play a vital role in enhancing students’ skills and capabilities. He further emphasized that in today’s competitive era, innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurial thinking are essential for success. He encouraged students to utilize their abilities positively for the progress and development of the country.
At the end of the event, the principal commended the efforts of Ms. Saba Nasir, Mr. Muhammad Umair Zulfiqar, Mr. Umair Rafiq, and Ms. Seher Muneer (Lecturers, Department of Business Administration, Constituent College Burewala, University of Agriculture Faisalabad) for the successful organization of the event and extended gratitude to all the honorable guests for their presence.

Burewala: A dignified and purpose-driven seminar was organized at the Constituent College Burewala, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, on the occasion of International Labour Day. Faculty members, staff, and students participated in the event.
The seminar was attended by Hafiz Muhammad Waseem Akram, Assistant Director Labour Welfare Vehari; Hafiz Muhammad Nadeem Saqib, CEO and Founder of Jazb-E-Nao Welfare Organization; and Dr. Syed Zohaib Aziz, Lecturer, Department of Sociology, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, as distinguished guests and speakers. Principal Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin, along with the staff, warmly welcomed the honourable guests.
While addressing the seminar, the speakers highlighted the historical significance of Labour Day, the pivotal role of the working class, and the importance of protecting their fundamental rights in a comprehensive and well-articulated manner. They emphasized that the sustainable development of any nation depends on the well-being of its workforce and the facilities provided to them; therefore, addressing their issues and ensuring better working conditions is essential.
Dr. Munazzah Manzoor (Lecturer Sociology), Dr. Saima Nazir (Research Officer), Dr. Sadia Nazir (Lecturer), and other faculty members also shared their views on workers' rights, social justice, and the provision of equal opportunities. They stressed that educational institutions play a key role in creating social awareness and a sense of responsibility among the youth, enabling them to contribute to building a just and balanced society.
In his address, Principal Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin stated that Labour Day reminds us that the true progress of any institution and society is made possible through the efforts of the working class. He further said that the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, is taking a keen interest in safeguarding workers’ rights, promoting their welfare, and ensuring better working conditions through practical and effective measures. He added that the university administration is committed to providing a dignified environment, equal opportunities, and the protection of legitimate rights for all employees.
After the seminar, an awareness walk was organized within the campus to express solidarity with workers and to promote awareness about their vital role in society. At the end, Principal Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin appreciated the efforts of Dr. Munazzah Manzoor (Lecturer Sociology) and the faculty members, and paid rich tribute to them for successfully organizing such a remarkable event.

Burewala (Dated: April 28, 2026): The Character Building Society of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Constituent College Burewala successfully organized an awareness seminar and blood donation drive in collaboration with the Regional Blood Center (RBC) Multan.
The blood donation campaign was formally inaugurated by Professor Dr. Zain ul Abdin, Principal of UAF Constituent College Burewala. He described voluntary blood donation as a life-saving act and a cornerstone of a responsible society. He encouraged students to actively and regularly participate in such initiatives, emphasizing that community service not only saves lives but also helps develop responsible, compassionate, and socially aware citizens.
He further urged the youth to institutionalize the spirit of volunteerism and adopt blood donation as a routine civic responsibility rather than a one-time activity. He also highlighted that under the leadership of Honourable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, the campus continues to promote community-based initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This strategic direction integrates academic excellence with social responsibility, encouraging students to actively contribute to public health, well-being, and social resilience.
A representative from the Regional Blood Center Multan provided a detailed briefing on donor screening, sample testing, and safe blood collection procedures to ensure transparency and build trust in the process.
During the seminar, experts including Dr. Muhammad Abu Bakar, Dr. Sadaf Shakoor, Dr. Abdullah, Mr. Umair Raza, and Mr. Haroon Sheikh shared valuable insights on infectious and genetic blood diseases. They particularly emphasized early screening, preventive measures, and the importance of blood donation, especially for patients suffering from thalassemia and haemophilia.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the Principal appreciated the efforts of the Character Building Society for this initiative, which contributes not only to community welfare but also to students’ personal development. He thanked all donors, organizers, and participants for turning awareness into action and reaffirmed the collective commitment to building a healthier, safer, and more compassionate society.

Burewala | April 28, 2026 (Tuesday): A prestigious event was held at the Constituent College of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in Burewala to mark the wheat harvesting season. The event was formally inaugurated by Principal Professor Dr. Zain ul Abdin. While addressing the ceremony, the Principal highlighted that the agricultural sector is currently confronting emerging challenges due to rapidly changing climatic conditions. In this context, he stressed that the promotion of modern research and science-based agricultural practices has become indispensable. He further emphasized the importance of developing and adopting high-yielding crop varieties that require fewer inputs while ensuring resilience against climatic stress and extreme weather conditions.
He also noted that Pakistan’s cultural traditions, particularly harvest-related festivals, serve as a strong reflection of farmers’ hard work, dedication, and contributions. Preserving and promoting these traditions, he said, is a shared responsibility. Paying tribute to the farming community, he remarked that farmers play a pivotal role in strengthening the national economy, and it is therefore essential to provide them with modern agricultural facilities, technical support, and continuous guidance.
Principal Prof. Dr. Zain ul Abdin further stated that under the visionary leadership of Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, the institution is actively strengthening linkages between farmers and students through practical initiatives. In this regard, agricultural experts are extending field-based guidance on modern farming techniques, selection of certified seeds, and improved crop management practices to enhance productivity and achieve the goal of agricultural self-sufficiency.
