The true weight of this day lies in what happens when the final bell rings. Ahead of them lies a vast, blank canvas of three whole months. It is a bridge between who they are now and who they will be when they return. When they walk out those doors today, they leave as children finishing a grade; when they return in three months, they will be a little taller, a little older, and ready for a brand-new chapter.
