If you want to apply for China’s highly paid scholarship, the ANSO Scholarship, then this opportunity is for you.
This scholarship is only for Master’s and PhD programs.
You can apply for the ANSO Scholarship in two universities of China:
1. University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS)
2. University of Science and Technology of China (USTC)
Under the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), there are more than 100 research institutes where you can also apply.
For this scholarship, you must first get an acceptance letter from a professor of either the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), or from any of their research institutes by sending an email.
Although both universities mention on their official websites that the acceptance letter is not mandatory, due to high competition, getting admission without it is almost impossible.
After that, you have to prepare your documents and apply.5
You can submit your application through only one portal, either of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) or the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
Now, if we talk about the stipend, it is around 160,000 PKR for Master’s students and around 280,000 PKR for PhD students (approximately).
The deadline for the ANSO Scholarship is 15 February, but you should start emailing professors now so that you can get your acceptance letter on time.
