Eid-ul-Adha is a celebration, and it is about sacrifice and giving. Spend some time sharing what you have with the less privileged so everyone can have the same blessed and joyous Eid as you. It is also a chance to reconnect with Allah by sacrificing in His name and distributing the meat amongst family and deserving people.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: โThe first thing to be done on this day (first day of `Id ul Adha) is to pray; and after returning from the prayer we slaughter our sacrifices (in the name of Allah) and whoever does so, he acted according to our Sunna (traditions).โ โ Bukhari 951
