Practical Awareness Session in the Biology Laboratory

Today, at Akram Khan Durrani College Bannu, under the supervision and visionary leadership of Principal Malik Akhya Jan, an informative and practical awareness session was conducted in the Biology Laboratory for students.
During the session, students were practically educated about the harmful effects of cigarette smoking on human health, with special emphasis on its impact on the respiratory system and overall well-being.
Students were also given a detailed demonstration of prepared microscope slides containing various specimens, including bacteria, Volvox, Spirogyra, and the internal structures of roots, stems, and leaves. The practical session highlighted their significance in biological studies and provided students with hands-on experience in the proper use of microscopes and other laboratory equipment.
In addition, a comprehensive briefing was delivered on the major organs of the human body, their functions, and their significance in maintaining human health.
Such practical learning activities reflect the commitment of Principal Malik Akhya Jan to promoting quality science education, strengthening laboratory-based learning, and providing students with a deeper understanding of biological concepts through hands-on experience.

صوبائی حکومت کے احکامات کے مطابق اکرم خان درانی کالج بنوں میں 2 جون 2026 سے جماعت سوم (3rd) تا جماعت دہم (10th) سمر کیمپ کا آغاز کیا جا رہا ہے۔

سمر کیمپ کے دوران تدریسی اوقات صبح 7:30 بجے سے 10:00 بجے تک ہوں گے۔اس دوران ڈے سکالر طلبہ کے لیے کالج بسوں کی سہولت معمول کے مطابق دستیاب رہے گی۔ جبکہ بورڈر طلباء کے لئے ہاسٹل کی سہولت بھی میسر رہے گی۔

تمام طلبہ و طالبات حاضری یقینی بنائیں۔ غیر حاضر طلبہ و طالبات کے خلاف کالج پالیسی کے مطابق جرمانہ عائد کیا جائے گا۔

نوٹ1: نرسری سے کلاس دوئم تک طلباء سمر کیمپ سے مستثنیٰ ہوں گے۔
نوٹ2: کالج کے تمام ٹیچر حضرات اپنی حاضری کو یقینی بنائیں۔
