Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran has said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan Laptop Scheme is a milestone in making the youth of Pakistan independent. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is the second largest university in the country that is benefiting from this scheme. Under the current phase, laptops are being provided to more than 3400 students. The teachers and students of Jamia Islamia are grateful to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran congratulated the Chairman Higher Education Commission Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar for successfully implementing the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme. On this occasion, Director IT Faisal Shahzad and Focal Person Shahzad Rafique gave a detailed briefing to the Vice Chancellor on the schedule and procedure for distributing laptops.

Students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur belonging to Sindh province met with Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran at Abbasia Campus today. On this occasion the Vice Chancellor praised their dedication for seeking knowledge and advised them to devote themselves towards eduaction for personal development as well as progress of their region.
