The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is offering Ph.D. admissions in Electrical Engineering for Fall semester 2020. The last date to apply for the IUB department test and Admissions is 25th August 2020.

Applicants with a minimum of eighteen years of education in a relevant field of Electrical Engineering including Electronic Engineering, Electrical (Power) Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Control Engineering, Advanced Electronics, and Control Engineering from HEC recognized university, Bachelor degree accredited with PEC, and 60% marks in NTS G*T Subject or IUB department test are eligible for admission.

At the time of admission, it is compulsory to have consent from an IUB faculty member for Ph.D. supervision. The Ph.D. electrical engineering program at IUB has 16 full-time Ph.D. faculty members from different substreams of electrical engineering. COVID 19 Tracking & Alert System. I am looking for a resource person potentially a graduate student with basic knowledge of AI/ML and some experience with Google maps for a project related to COVID 19 patients tracking and alerts about safest routes for traveling. The research output is expected to help the governments track the path of COVID 19 patients and to reach the suspects quickly. The project will also be helpful for general public in determining the safest route for traveling.
