The creation of IIUI Schools remains in line with the mission of the International Islamic University Islamabad to encourage and promote education, training and research in different areas of learning such as social, natural, applied and communication sciences with special emphasis on Islamic learning. As much as The Schools aim to prepare students for learning of modern sciences and arts, these w

ill focus on Islamic Values and Character Building of students. IIUI Schools follow an enriched curriculum taught by trained staff, which will teach to a high academic standard and attend to the academic and social needs of students. IIUI Schools offer amongst other things a number of special features that make the schools unique. Meeting the needs of the 21st century curriculum, IIUI Schools offer:
• Technology based curriculum and IT Skills certification provided at the end of the school year.
• Centers of learning that foster learning opportunities for students, staff and management.
• Curriculum focussed on practical and interactive learning programmes relying not only on total learning within the classroom but also based on outside academic activities such as presentations, conferences, seminars and meetings for students as young as grades I onwards.
• Taught subjects to be focussed on acquiring skills and knowledge applicable in the modern world.
• Self evaluation a regular practice for students and teachers
• School focus on character building, religious education( Nazra, Quranic syllabus and Arabic Classes), active citizenship, team building and advanced communication skills
• Sports and creative arts an integral part of student daily routine
• English as a primary medium of instruction, communication and interaction for all staff and students with Arabic and Urdu as secondary taught languages.
• Motivational/Inspirational sessions for students to make them high achievers who desire to learn
• Set systems and traditions to be followed to develop love and pride for Institution.
• Assessment systems and programmes based on formative evaluation of student achievement
• Effective study skills a regular part of student curriculum
• Reporting and feedback system initially to student and then to parent for improved communication.
• Library as a central aspect of students’ activities.
• Community support work and development activities a regular part of curriculum and percentage of marks awarded for this work
• Parental involvement and interaction an essential element of the school systems.
