Every year, Pakistan needs approximately 5 million blood donations, but only 2.3 million are donated. This shortage puts the lives of thousands of Thalassemia patients and emergency cases at risk.

📢 Official Visit Update – Comwave College Abbottabad
Activity no 05
Today, a delegation from Comwave College Abbottabad visited the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Abbottabad. The visit was held under the esteemed presence of Dr. Syed Shah Zaid, who served as the Guest of Honour.

The delegation also included respected students and Ms. Sundus Bibi, Incharge Students Affairs Committee, along with the President of the Students Affairs Committee. A detailed and constructive discussion was held with the Chairman BISE Abbottabad regarding academic matters, student affairs, and institutional collaboration for future improvements.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Osama Nadeem Qureshi, Chairman Youth Parliament, for his valuable support and cooperation in making this visit meaningful and successful.

This visit marks a positive step towards strengthening coordination between educational institutions and promoting student-centered initiatives.

🩸 Seminar on Thalassemia Awareness & Blood Donation at COMWAVE Abbottabad 🩸

Today, Hajira Hamza Foundation Hazara successfully conducted an informative and impactful seminar at COMWAVE Abbottabad focusing on Thalassemia Awareness and the importance of Voluntary Blood Donation.

The session highlighted the challenges faced by thalassemia patients, the need for regular blood donations, and how a single donation can help save precious lives. Participants were educated about prevention, awareness, and the vital role of community support in combating thalassemia. Regular blood transfusions are essential for many thalassemia patients, making donor awareness especially important.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Hajira Hamza Foundation Hazara for their efforts in promoting this noble cause and inspiring students and community members to become lifesavers through blood donation.
