*“The Oldest Stories Make the Newest Memories”*

On yesterday, the walls of CPEI Abbottabad echoed with something more powerful than lessons and louder than the school bell — the sound of laughter, wisdom, and the gentle voice of a grandparent saying, _“Let me tell you a story, beta…”_

We celebrated *Grandparents’ Storytelling Day*, and what a day it was. Our Montessori and Junior sections welcomed the most special teachers our children will ever have: their Nana, Nani, Dada, and Dadi. For a few hours, our classrooms became time machines. No screens, no slides, just storybooks, warm laps, and timeless tales passed down through generations.

From folk stories of courage to childhood memories from their own school days, our grandparents gave our students something no syllabus can: connection. They taught that kindness wins, that truth matters, and that every child is loved beyond measure. You could see it in the children’s eyes — complete attention, absolute wonder, and pure joy.

As a small gesture of _ehteraam_, each child brought *one flower from home*. A single bloom, but a thousand emotions. It was their way of saying _“Thank you for your time. Thank you for your love. Thank you for being our first storyteller.”_ Watching little hands offer flowers to trembling, proud hands of grandparents — there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

*At CPEI, we teach ABCs and 123s. But we also teach respect.* We teach that education without _tarbiyat_ is incomplete. Events like these are our way of building a bridge between modern learning and timeless values. Because a child who knows how to love their elders will grow up to lead with compassion.

It is hereby informed that, in accordance with the instructions of the Government and due to the nationwide austerity drive, *Cantt Public Girls School & College Abbottabad* will remain *closed* until *31st March 2026*.

👩‍🏫 *Important updates for students:*
Students are further informed that *online classes* will be conducted from *16th March to 31st March 2026*. The timetable for the online classes will be shared in the respective student groups, so keep an eye on your group announcements for the schedule.

📚 *Examination notice:*
The *HSSC Pre-Board Examinations* will be conducted as per the *previously announced schedule*. Make sure you prepare according to the original exam timetable.
