Dr. Ayesha Javed, alumnus of WIRS, a native of District Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, represents an extraordinary blend of academic brilliance and administrative leadership. Beginning her education at Pakistan College Muscat, Oman, she stood 1st in both her Matriculation and Intermediate. She led a distinguished medical career at the Women Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (WIRS) Abbottabad, where she was a university topper and a Gold Medalist. Her academic prowess continued at Riphah International University, where she earned another Chancellor Gold Medal. A prolific researcher and academician, she has authored more than 20 research papers and has expanded her expertise through professional courses from Imperial College London and the Michigan State University. Dr. Ayesha qualified CSS Special 2023 exam and further solidified her status by becoming the KP Topper again in CSS 2024. Currently allocated to the prestigious Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) as an Assistant Commissioner, she continued to showcase an illustrious career in the 53rd Common Training Program (CTP), earning the prestigious Exemplary Conduct Award and emerging as topper in both individual subject and field attachments. Her trajectory from Abbottabad to the pinnacle of Pakistan’s Bureaucracy serves as a powerful testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence and national service.

Seminar on Character Building and Life Guidance by Al-Noor International, Abbottabad was held at Women Institute of Learning Abbottabad, organized by the Department of Pharmacy (WIL). The session was attended by 130+ participants, including faculty members and students. The audience was highly impressed and motivated. The speaker, Miss Shagufta Naheed, presented the topic beautifully, delivering an inspiring and impactful session. She also presented gifts of books (Emaan ka Rasta) to the main organizers: Prof. Dr. Hamid Ullah Shah (Dean), Miss Zainab Jadoon (QEC Manager), and Dr. Rozina Kousar (Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy).

Spreading smiles beyond classrooms ✨
The Student Society of the Women Institute of Learning, Pharmacy Department (4th & 5th Year), led by Marya Iqbal, organized a donation drive and visited an orphanage under the supervision of Chairperson Professor Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan and Ma’am Zainab Jadoon.
The collected contributions were used to purchase gifts, and the team spent quality time with the children, spreading smiles and joy. It was a truly heartwarming initiative reflecting compassion, teamwork, and social responsibility.

The esteemed team was warmly received by Dean Prof. Dr. Hamid Ullah Shah, Assistant Director Finance Mr. Ahmed Yar Jadoon, Registrar Mr. Qaiser Muhammad, Project Director Mr. Muhammad Zakir, and Chairperson WIRS Dr. Irrij Javed Jadoon, along with dedicated faculty members and administrative officials.

Report on the Successful Conduct of Renewal Visit
Department of Pharmacy, Women Institute of Learning, Abbottabad:
The Department of Pharmacy, Women Institute of Learning (WIL), Abbottabad successfully conducted the renewal visit by the esteemed inspection panel of the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (P*P) in a highly professional, cordial, and constructive environment.
The inspection panel comprised Professor Dr. Noor Jahan, Dr. Kashif Maqbool Khan, and Dr. Abdul Jabbar Magsi, whose visit was conducted in accordance with the prescribed standards and guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
The visiting team was warmly received by the senior leadership of the Institute, including the Managing Director Dr. Azhar Khan Jadoon, Dean Meritorious Professor Dr. Hamidullah Shah, Principal Professor Dr. Ameer Badshah, and Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy Professor Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan, along with other faculty members and administrative officials.
Following a cordial meet-and-greet session, the proceedings formally commenced with a comprehensive presentation delivered by the Chairperson, Professor Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan. The presentation provided a detailed overview of the Department, highlighting academic programs, faculty strength, student enrollment, teaching–learning strategies, laboratory and library resources, research activities, and ongoing quality assurance initiatives in line with P*P requirements.
Subsequently, the inspection panel conducted a thorough visit of the departmental facilities, including lecture halls, laboratories, research spaces, and allied academic infrastructure. The panel carefully reviewed the availability, adequacy, and functionality of facilities essential for the effective delivery of the Pharm.D. program.
The visit concluded with an interactive and constructive discussion held at the refreshments table, where valuable insights and recommendations were exchanged regarding further enhancement of facilities and academic practices to strengthen quality pharmacy education and professional training.
The inspection concluded on a highly positive and encouraging note, reflecting mutual appreciation and a shared commitment toward continuous improvement. The management and faculty of the Women Institute of Learning reaffirm their strong commitment to providing high-quality pharmacy education, professional practice exposure, and research facilities under the continuous guidance and supervision of the honorable Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.

**WMC, WDC & WIL&RS Delegation Advances Digital Transformation in Health Education – 5 January 2026**
A delegation from Women Medical College, Women Dental College, and Women Institute of Learning & Rehabilitation Sciences visited Cyber Advance Solutions in Lahore to finalize a contract for a Complete Software Solutions (CAS) deployment, including an integrated Learning Management System (LMS).
The delegation included Dr. M. Abdullah Qazi (BDS, MMEd, PhD), Mr. Asad Ali (LMS Manager), and Mr. Bilal (Network Administrator).
