Workshop on Importance of Research Question and Rationale Held at WMC Skills Lab – 17 June 2026

On 17 June 2026, a workshop on the Importance of Research Question and Rationale was held at the Skills Lab, Women Medical College Abbottabad. The session was facilitated by Assistant Professor Dr. Saima Manzoor from the Department of Community Medicine and Miss Suha Khan from the Research Cell.

Assistant Director Administration & Assistant Professor Community Medicine, Dr. Uswah Noor, acknowledged the facilitators and distributed shields and certificates in recognition of their valuable contribution.

📌 Assessment Evaluation Meeting

An assessment evaluation meeting was held on 20 June 2026 following the receipt of student and faculty assessment feedback, with active participation from QEC, Exam Cell, and DMER. The session focused on reviewing feedback, evaluating module outcomes, identifying strengths and challenges, and discussing strategies for continuous academic improvement.

WDC Sports Week 2026 concluded on a high note, celebrating teamwork, sportsmanship, and outstanding performances. The event featured an exciting faculty match, adding energy and enthusiasm to the grand finale.

🏅 Trophies and certificates were awarded by Prof. Dr. Shahid Khan and Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Qazi to the winning teams and outstanding performers in recognition of their achievements.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Workshop

The Department of Medicine, Jinnah International Hospital Abbottabad, successfully conducted a CME-accredited workshop on "Rational Use of Anti-Diabetic Drugs", under the accreditation framework of Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.

The scientific session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Munir Noor and Prof. Dr. Taqweem-ul-Haq, who shared evidence-based insights on the safe, effective, and rational prescribing of anti-diabetic medications to optimize patient outcomes and enhance medication safety.

This academic activity was organized in collaboration with Women Medical & Dental College Abbottabad (WMDC), Jinnah International Hospital Abbottabad (JIHA), and Rehmat Memorial Postgraduate Dental Hospital (RMPGDH) as part of their commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in healthcare education.

Participants were awarded KMU-accredited CME Credit Hours for their active participation.
