Army Burn Hall College for Girls,Abbottabad
Burn Hall was established at Srinagar in 1943 by the Fathers of Mill Hill, London. It was then a hotel building, which was converted into a small school.
It was named after an English Manor House (Hall) with a small stream (Burn) running through it. After partition in 1948, it was shifted to its present location in Abbottabad. As the number of students increased, new blocks were added. In 1956, a separate building was constructed at a new site and Classes VII to Senior Cambridge were shifted there and named as Senior Burn Hall. However, the Junior
