Foundational Literacy and numeracy ( FLN) activities started in different Districts of KP , day first in Distt Mohmand .Additiobal director C&TR visited venue

A three days workshop of curriclum wing and JACA AQAL under title "Review of Textual Material of Middle Tect for ALP session-01 " curriclum wing (DCTE) is in process under the supervision of Mr Jaffar Mansoor Abbassi,Director DCTE.Miss Sadia Aziz Additional director C&TR is the coordinator.

An activity of contextualization and Finalization of checklists/tools session ,2, of Learners,curriculum and textbooks standard started in DCTE with the collaboration of UNICEF.Mr.Jaffar Mansoor Abbassi Director DCTE shared his thoughts and expectations with participants.Mr Muhammad Athar additional director standard setting wing oriented participants about the process of development (session1) .Dr Rafia Naz (learner) and Dr.Shafqat Hussain (curriclum and textbook) are the desk officers.

The select committee was formed to review Textbooks of English for grade 6,7,8 developed by KP Textbook board Peshawar to ensure its alignment with the National Curriclum 2022 (KP version) ,accuracy and relevance of content, clarity and coherence of writing under the supervision of Director DCTE ,Mr.Jaffar Mansoor Abbasi and Additional director curriclum and textbooks Miss sadia Aziz

A five days workshop on item development for grade 8 students and teachers content knowledge in the subjects of english ,urdu ,mathematcs ,general science under KPHCIP started today.Director DCTE Mr.Jaffar Mansoor Abbassi and additional director Assessment and Evaluation Mrs Zohra Begum supervised and coordinate activity accordingly.Mr Taj wali khan subject expert languages oriented participants about the assigned task.

In response to the Task: Observance of Black Day 27th Oct, 2024 vide ref No T38520C of Elementary & Secondary Education Department, dated: 25 Oct, 2024, The Directorate of Curriculum and Teacher Education (DCTE) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abbottabad observed October 27, 2024, as Black Day to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir and highlighted the importance of resolving the Kashmir dispute by considering it as a painful chapter in the life of Kashmir’s people .
A special program was held, where staff delivered speeches and documentary on Kashmir was screened. Also, a discussion forum was organized, where speakers shared their views and suggestions .
Conclusion: The observance of Black Day was a success, with active participation from the staff. The DCTE reaffirms its commitment to promot awareness and showed solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
