Mitochondria vs Chloroplast: Difference and Similarities

The Mitochondria are known as the powerhouse of cells and present in both plant and animal cells. It is involved in the process of cellular respiration in which energy in the form of ATP is generated in the presence of oxygen. The chloroplast is present in plant and algal cells. The synthesis of food takes place inside chloroplast by the process of photosynthesis. Both organelles are entirely different yet important to the cells due to their unique structure and functions. Newly discovered Blue Mushroom (𝘔𝘺𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘤𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘢) from Taiwan.

32-year-old Eric Cho (卓霆宇), who works as a pharmacist, spotted this species of mushroom near 150, Section 3, Zhishan Road, in Taipei City's Shilin District. The mysterious mushroom is believed to be Mycena subcyanocephala (近藍蓋小菇).

When asked how he found the fungi, Cho said his friend Chiang Pei-ying (蔣珮瑩) informed him that Bixi Trail in Shilin District has a "special tiny mushroom" worth investigating. Cho said that he found one on a piece of wood and took it home.

However, he was disappointed to find that it was a rather drab grayish-white color. Hoping that it might glow, he then tried turning off all the lights at night, but to no avail.

Cho said that he dutifully sprayed the fungi every day to keep it moist. After more than three months, Cho noticed that on March 7, a new spawn had appeared on the wood with a spectacular blue color.

He said that according to a research paper titled, "Two new species of Mycena in Taiwan," the blue color only appears in the young stage and fades to light-blue or whitish when it reaches maturation.

حضرت ابو سعید خُدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے دستِ مبارک میں کھمبیاں تھیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: یہ کھمبیاں مَنّ میں سے ہیں اور یہ آنکھ کے لے شفاء ہیں...!!!!

حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ انصاری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے زمانے میں کھمبیاں بہت زیادہ ہوا کرتی تھیں تو بعض صحابہ کرام علیہم الرضوان کہنے لگے کہ یہ زمین کے چیچک ہیں( یعنی جس طرح اِنسان سے بیماری میں چیچک نکلتا ہے گویا یہ بھی زمین کی بیماری میں اس سے نکلتی ہے) اور انہوں نے اسے کھانے سے انکار کر دیا۔ یہ بات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تک پہنچی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے منبر پر کھڑے ہو کر فرمایا کہ لوگوں کو کیا ہو گیا ہے جو یہ گمان کرتے ہیں کہ کھمبی زمین کا چیچک ہے خبردار سنو! یہ زمین کا چیچک نہیں بلکہ مَن و سلویٰ سے ہے اور اس کے پانی میں آنکھوں کے لئے شفاء ہے...!!!!

علامہ نوویؒ اس بارے میں لکھتے ہیں کہ
صحیح اور درست بات یہ ہے کہ اس کا پانی مطلقاً آنکھوں کے لیے شفاء ہے کہ پانی کو نچوڑ کر آنکھوں پر لگایا جائے۔ اپنے زمانے میں، میں نے اور میرے علاوہ لوگوں نے دیکھا کہ وہ ایک نابینا تھے جن کی آ نکھوں کی بینائی چلی گئی تھی انہوں نے اپنے آنکھوں پر کھمبی کا خالص پانی لگایا تو وہ شفایاب ہو گئے اور ان کی آنکھیں ٹھیک ہو گئی اور وہ شخصیت علامہ شیخ کمال بن عبد اللہ دمشقی علیہ الرحمة تھے، جہنوں نے حدیث پاک پر اعتماد کرتے ہوئے اور حدیث سے تبرک کی نیّت سے کھمبی کا پانی استعمال فرمایا تھا...!!!!
