Subject: Suspension of Classes Due to Tropical Storm “BASYANG”
Date: February 6, 2026

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tampilisan hereby informs the public of the suspension of classes in all levels, both public and private schools, within the Municipality of Tampilisan. Executive Order (E.O.) to follow.

This suspension is issued as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and welfare of students, teachers, and school personnel due to the adverse effects brought by Tropical Storm “BASYANG.”

What You Need to Know:
✅ All levels – from pre-school, elementary, high school to tertiary – are suspended
✅ Applies to both public and private schools
⚠ The community is advised to remain vigilant and prioritize safety
📍 Families living in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas are advised to take necessary precautions

Reminder to the Public:
- Stay updated through LDRRMO Tampilisan advisories and PAGASA weather bulletins
- Secure your homes and prepare emergency essentials
- Avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall and strong winds
