The ZHE: PARAGON of RESEARCH successfully conducted their first ever School-Based Research Congress participated by both Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and Accountancy in Business Management (ABM) Grade 12 students who evidently showcased their wit and grit during their Final Oral Defense of the subject, Research in Daily Life 2 at Zamboanga Del Norte National High School-Based Management (SBM) Hub, ZNNHS Main Campus, Dipolog City on May 27, 2022.
Gracing the event was the School Principal IV, Dr. Joselito S. Tizon who expressed his warmest felicitations to the congress' conveners, Mr . Marbin A. Tubat, HUMSS Research Teacher and Mr.Felicito Rosevelt Adaro Jr. , ABM's Research Teacher and to the competent members of the panel, Ma'am Marie Mahogany B. Ogoc, English teacher and Ma'am Genevie E. Abo, HUMSS teacher.
Furthermore, Dr. Tizon shared the same extent of commendations to the eloquent researchers leaving a heart- warming message, "With this meaningful endeavor, the culture of research here in ZNNHS will surely be put to fruitions.", that truly put an extra mile of smile of the researchers' visages.
"To both HUMSS and ABM strands for having braved the tides and threats of COVID-19 just to give a first hand experience in doing scholarly works in a form of research, congratulations to everyone for a job well done.", Dr.Tizon added.
For this year's research congress, the entries of HUMSS were as follows: Service Delivery in Zamboanga Del Norte National High School Vis-ร-Vis Quality of School Life among Student Clienteles, Humss Teachers' Immediacy and Communication Practices in Relation to Students' Performance and Quantifying Types of Complex Verb Phrase Patterns in Philippine English through its Frequency of Occurrence in Humss Students' Essays: A Corpus Study that won the Best Paper award.
On the other hand, Grade 12 ABM students defended two (2) researches to wit: Impact of Teachers' Pedagogical Approaches to ZNNHS ABM Students Behavioral Performance, Cognitive Perspective, and Constructivism on their Specialized Subjects and
Gauging Consumers Level of Satisfaction on E-commerce as reflected on their Points of Purchase.
Meanwhile, Raffy Labadan, Grade 12, section Beauvoir and Kristia Niรฑa Daymiel were conferred as Best Oral Presenters for HUMSS strand and Christine Marie R. Cabilin from the ABM strand.
