📚 Women are trust

Imam Ibn al-Jawzi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"Women are a trust placed in the hands of the noble. None honors them except an honorable person, and none mistreats them except a dishonorable person."

قَالَ الإِمَامُ ابْنُ الجَوْزِيِّ -رَحِمَهُ اللهُ :-

النِّسَاءُ وَدَائِعُ الأَحْرَارِ ، وَلَا يُعِزُّهُنَّ إِلَّا عَزِيزٌ ، وَلَا يُذِلُّهُنَّ إِلَّا ذَلِيلٌ .

📚 Spreading Knowledge is Better than giving Charity with Wealth

Shaykh al-ʿAllāmah Ibn ʿUthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Knowledge is far better than wealth, even if someone were to give in charity vast and immense sums.
Indeed, knowledge and spreading knowledge are superior.
Let me give you an example:
In the era of Abu Hurayrah, there were caliphs and kings who ruled the world.
In the time of Imam Ahmad, there were wealthy people who possessed great riches, gave charity, and established endowments.
In later times, during the era of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al‑Qayyim, there were rich people who donated, spent generously, and set up endowments.
Where is that wealth now?
Where is what they spent?
Where are the endowments they established?
It is gone, there is hardly any trace of it today.
But the hadiths of Abu Hurayrah are still recited at all times, day and night, and he continues to receive their reward.
Likewise, the knowledge and understanding of the imams remain widespread among the Ummah, and their reward continues to reach them.
The same applies to Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn al‑Qayyim, and other scholars: they died, yet their remembrance remains alive. They teach people, and while they lie in their graves, they continue to receive reward.
This clearly shows that knowledge is far superior to wealth and more beneficial for a person.

📚 Sharḥ Riyāḍ al‑Ṣāliḥīn (5/436)

نشر العلم أفضل من التصدق بالاموال

قال العلامة ابن عثيمين - رحمه الله تعالى :

فالعلم أفضل بكثير من المال، حتى لو تصدق بأموال عظيمة طائلة، فالعلم ونشر العلم أفضل، واضرب لكم مثلا:ً الآن في عهد أبي هريرة خلفاء ملوك ملكوا الدنيا، وفي عهد الإمام أحمد أغنياء ملكوا أموالاً عظيمة وتصدقوا وأوقفوا، في عهد من بعدهم كشيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية وابن القيم أناس أغنياء تصدقوا وأنفقوا وأوقفوا، أين ذهب المال ؟ أين ذهب ما أنفقوه؟ أين ذهب ما وقفوه؟ راح لا يوجد له أثر الآن، لكن أحاديث أبي هريرة تتلى في كل وقت ليلاً ونهارا،ً ويأتيه أجرها، الأئمة أيضاً علمهم وفقههم منشور بين الأمة يأتيهم الأجر، وهكذا شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية وابن القيم وغيرهم من العلماء ماتوا لكن ذكرهم حي باق يعلمون الناس وهم في قبورهم ينالهم الأجر وهم في قبورهم وهذا يدل على أن العلم أفضل بكثير من المال وأنفع
للإنسان .

📚 Avoiding Extremes: Balance and Moderation in Religion

Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet sAllahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Indeed, the religion is ease, and no one overburdens himself in the religion except that it overcomes him. So aim for moderation, seek closeness [to perfection], and receive glad tidings."
Narrated by Al-Bukhari

​Hadith Explanation:
The Prophet ﷺ encouraged remaining gentle in deeds, restricting oneself to what a person can bear, and maintaining consistency in practice.
​"Indeed, the religion is ease": Meaning it is facilitated and made easy in its commands and prohibitions.
​"And no one overburdens himself in the religion except that it overcomes him": Meaning whoever is overly strict or exaggerates in religious practice will burn out, and the religion will overwhelm and overpower him.
​"So aim for moderation": Tasdeed (moderation) means acting with measured intent and balance in worship—neither falling short in what is commanded, nor burdening oneself with what one cannot bear.
​"And seek closeness": Meaning if you cannot achieve absolute perfection, act in a way that comes as close to it as possible.
​"And receive glad tidings": Meaning rejoice in the reward for your deeds, even if they are few.

عن أبي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عنه قال: قال النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّم: (إنَّ الدِّينَ يُسْرٌ، ولن يُشادَّ الدِّينَ أحَدٌ إلَّا غَلَبَهُ، فَسَدِّدُوا وقارِبُوا وأَبْشِرُوا).
رواه البخاري

​شرح الحديث
حثَّ النبيُّ ﷺ على ملازمةِ الرِّفقِ في الأعمالِ، والاقتصارِ على ما يُطيقُه العبدُ، ويُمكِنُه المداومةُ عليه، "إنَّ الدِّينَ يُسْرٌ" أي: مُيَسَّرٌ مُسَهَّلٌ في أواِمرِه ونَواهيه، "ولن يُشادَّ الدِّينَ أحَدٌ إلَّا غَلَبَهُ" أي: أنَّ مَن تشَدَّد في الدِّينِ وتعمَّقَ انقطعَ وغَلَبه الدِّينُ وقَهَرَه، "فَسَدِّدُوا" التَّسديد: هو العملُ بالقَصْدِ، والتَّوَسُّطِ في العبادةِ، فلا يقَصِّرُ فيما أُمِرَ به، ولا يتحَمَّلُ منها ما لا يُطِيقُه، "وقارِبُوا"، أي: إن لم تستطيعوا الأخذَ بالأكملِ، فاعملوا بما يقرُبُ منه، "وأبْشِرُوا" أي: أَبْشِرُوا بالثَّوابِ على العملِ وإن قَلَّ.

📚 Do You Know Why You Daydream During Your Ride?

A Precious Gem of Wisdom by Sheikh 'Abdus Salam ibn Barjas (may Allah have mercy on him).

▪️ In Musannaf 'Abd al-Razzaq, with a good chain of transmission (sanad jayyid), 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he said: "When a man mounts his riding animal and does not mention the name of Allah, the Devil rides behind him and says to him, 'Sing!' If he cannot sing well, he says to him, 'Wish/Daydream!'"

✍️ Sheikh Dr. 'Abdus Salam ibn Barjas (may Allah have mercy on him) commented:
"In this narration (athar), if a rider does not mention the name of Allah upon mounting, the Devil accompanies him on his journey and distracts him from the remembrance of Allah by prompting him to sing. If the rider does not know how to sing, the Devil moves him to a second distraction: daydreaming and wishing (al-tamanni). He then becomes lost in its valleys, taking divergent paths—at times wishing for a beautiful wife, at other times a spacious house, and at others immense wealth... In this manner, he kills his time and wastes his life. Then, when his departure draws near, he bites his fingers in regret, saying: 'Oh, I wish I had sent forth [good deeds] for my life!' [Al-Fajr: 24], and 'My Lord, if only You would delay me for a short term so I would give charity and be among the righteous. But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.' [Al-Munafiqun: 10-11]"

Ibn al-Sunni reported in 'Amal al-Yawm wa al-Laylah on the authority of Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The people of Paradise will not regret anything except for an hour that passed them by in which they did not remember Allah, the Mighty and Sublime."

▪️في "مصنف عبد الرزاق" بسند جيد عن عبد الله بن مسعود -رضي الله عنه- أنه قال : (( إذا ركب الرجل دابته فلم يذكر اسم الله ردفه الشيطان، فقال له : تغن، فإن لم يحسن، قال له : تَمَنَّ ))

قال الشيخ الدكتور عبد السلام بن برجس -رحمه الله- :

ففي هذا الأثر : أن الراكب إذا لم يسم الله عند ركوبه، صحبه الشيطان في طريقه، فأشغله عن ذكر الله بالتغني، فإن كان الراكب لا يحسن التغني، نقله الشيطان إلى مشغل ثان، ألا وهو : التمني، فيتيه في أوديته، وتتشعب به مسالكه، فتارة يتمنى زوجة حسناء، وأخرى : بيتًا فسيحًا، وثالثة : ثروة طائلة ... وهكذا يقتل وقته، ويضيع حياته، حتى إذا دنا رحيله، قرع سن الندم، وقال : { يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي }[الفجر:24]، { لَوْلا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُنْ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ (10) وَلَنْ يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهَا وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ }[المنافقون:11،10]

وقد روى ابن السني في "عمل اليوم والليل" عن معاذ بن جبل -رضي الله عنه- قال : قال رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- : (( ليس يتحسر أهل الجنة إلا على ساعة مرت بهم لم يذكروا الله -عز وجل- فيها ))

📚 Don't Let Their Words Stop You

Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"If a person were to listen to everything people say and their objections, he would not take a single step forward.
Instead, rectify what is between you and Allah, and do not worry about anyone else.
The main objective is to seek the pleasure of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. If you seek Allah's pleasure even if it displeases people, Allah will be pleased with you, make the people pleased with you, and spare you from their burden."

لو أن الإنسان سمع ما يقول الناس وما يعترضون به ما مشى خطوة ،

لكن أنت أصلح ما بينك وبين الله ولا يهمك أحد ،

فالكلام على إرضاء الله عز وجل ، فإذا التمست رضا الله بسخط الناس رضي الله عنك وأرضى عنك الناس وكفاك مؤونتهم .
