On July 16, The Rotaract Club Of Western Mindanao State University joined their Mother Club - The Rotary Club of Metro Zamboanga on their successful 42nd induction and turn-over ceremony held at Astoria Regency, Pasonanca Zamboanga City.

The Rotaract Club of Western Mindanao State University congratulates the newly inducted President Danny Lim. May his term be filled with impactful accomplishments, and great success!

On July 12, The Rotaract Club Of Western Mindanao State University participated in the second part of the Rotaract Leadership Learning Seminar (RLLS) 2026 via Zoom along side fellow Rotaractors from District 3850.

The seminar taught the Rotaractors on how to create safe spaces for all and why commitment important.

On June 25 2026, The Rotaract club of WMSU joined Marcha De Orgullo themed “Orgullo na Cada Voz, Igualdad na Cada Espasyo”

Marching through the streets of Zamboanga City at Pride was a powerful reminder that there is space for everyone 🏳️‍🌈✨

The cheers of shared understanding, the entire day was a testament to the fact that no matter who you are, who you love, or how you identify. You belong here, and you are welcomed with open arms. 🫂💓

A huge thank you to WMSU Lakandiwa and Mujer LGBT Organization Inc for inviting us and for creating such a safe, vibrant, and welcoming space for all of us! 💕💕

On June 18 2026, The Rotaract club of WMSU joined PANUNAWA+ hosted by the Interact Club of Zamboanga City West.

We kicked off the day with a deep dive into how culture and belief systems shape our understanding of gender and sexuality. Participants unpacked their perspectives and how they influence daily interactions with the LGBTQIA+ community. Teaching us the fundamentals of SOGIESC (S*xual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, and S*x Characteristics) and ended with addressing the mental health of the LGBTQIA+ community. Emphasizing building inclusive environments, and offering peer support.

We am so grateful to have participated in this deeply insightful workshop. Real inclusion requires continuous learning and fighting the rights of the community. Thank you Interact Club of Zamboanga City West for creating such a safe and collaborative space to learn and grow together. 💕💕

This meaningful initiative brings together Rotaractors and Interactors across Zamboanga City to create a day of joy, hope, and meaningful connections with the children of St. Francis Orphanage. Through fellowship and service, we aim to remind every child that they are valued, encouraged, and celebrated.
