𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡,
𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟! 📢

Today, we grieve with the Ateneo de Zamboanga community following the tragic shooting incident that happened on their Junior High School Campus. This reminds us once again that violence can reach even to the places we believe should be safe.

But beyond the headlines, a question remains:

How many more tragedies will it take before we realize that our schools need more than security measures?

A classroom that is supposed to be a safe place for learning, an avenue for students to develop and nurture skills, has been replaced to a space that fosters hopelessness, concealed brokenness, and neglected personal struggles.

Schools need safe systems.
They need responsible adults.
They need mental-health support.
They need communities that listen before a crisis happens.

And above all, they need 𝑱𝑬𝑺𝑼𝑺.

Faith and action must work together because God's presence should shape the culture of our campuses; where students are taught that every life has value, hurting people are noticed, forgiveness is stronger than hatred, and compassion is practiced not just preached.

May we stop treating violence as something we simply mourn after it happens and build schools where every student knows that they are seen, valued, and loved.

The Lord has been so good and faithful in blessing BAEC with an environment where children and young people are welcomed to learn and grow in their relationship with Jesus—a place dedicated to worship, fellowship, meaningful learning, and personal growth. Every Bible lesson taught here leaves a lasting impact on young lives, speaking truth, offering comfort, providing encouragement, and serving as a constant source of hope. Countless young lives have been transformed through Sunday School, where God not only helps us learn His Word but also changes our hearts. We invite all young ones to join us every Sunday at 7:00 AM for Junior Worship and Sunday School! Come and enjoy fellowship with one another as we learn about God together and journey toward becoming more like Jesus in our daily lives. Let us choose to be disciples of Jesus, not of the world! 🤍

We are deeply grateful to our Almighty God for the success of our first-ever Sports Fellowship, Juego de Jóvenes 2026. The Lord has been moving behind the scenes, working through people He used to guide, support, and be present with us.

Thank you to all the athletes and delegates who joined us in learning how to be athletes in our Christian lives.

This is just the start of our journey. Every Christian is an athlete, and every athlete needs intentional training to win, and a coach to guide and help them. Our Christian lives are the same—we need a coach we can count on, someone who will help us, guide us, support us, and cheer us on as we journey to become more like Jesus.

We’re grateful that this fellowship led us to the Great Commission that our Lord Jesus Christ commanded: to make disciples of all nations.
