Inaasam natin ang isang makabuluhang tunguhin habang tayo ay naglalakbay sa kasukdulan ng buhay, ngunit natatamasa ba ang karapatang maisulong ng tama at payak ang iyong tatahakin? Sino nga ba ang magdedesisyon para sa iyo? Ang sarili mo o ang lipunang kinatatayuan mo?

Nailalapat ang paglayon ng bawat isa sa ating lipunan, taliwas sa ating inaasahan at katotohanan. Pananaw na nagkakasalungat ngunit pinipilit na ipanhik sa ating isipan ang kaibahan ng mga bagay. Lipunan na mapanghusga at liberal. Ito ba ang lipunan na nais mong makita?

“𝓐 𝓛𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝓤𝓷𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓼𝓮𝓷” o Buhay na Hindi Pinili, ay kumakatawan sa sinaunang panahon ng mamamayang Pilipino sa pamumuno ng mga Espanyol. Tumatalakay sa pelikulang ito ang buhay na pilit dikta ng ibang tao para saiyo. Ang buhay na kanilang pinanghahawakan ay hindi nila tinahak, bagkus, ang lipunan ang nagtakda noon para sa kanila. Diskriminasyon sa pangangatawan ng lipunan, at pang-aabuso sa karapatang pantao. Naillahad sa pelikulang ito ang diskriminasyon sa iba't ibang kasarian, at ang pagharap sa hamon ng kanilang buhay.

Ang pelikula na ito ay layong nagpapakita ng katapangan sa pagharap sa pang-aapi at pagtitiis. Ito ay nagbibigay ng inspirasyon sa kapangyarihan ng pag-ibig at pagbabago. Hindi lamang ito tungkol sa pag-ibig sa kapwa kasarian, kundi sa pagkakakilanlan ng tao. Nagpapaalala ito na ang pag-ibig ay walang hangganan at ang kalayaan ay isang karapatang panlahat.
