On 𝙈𝙖𝙮 09, 2026, selected students from the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝘽𝙎𝙀𝙎), together with the 🌍 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 and in partnership with 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧, conducted a 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and 🌿 𝐀𝐥𝐠𝐚𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥 at the ZSCMST Site B fish pond area. 🌱

The activity aimed to gather 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙖 on the current diversity status of fish species present in the pond before the implementation of the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐍𝐛𝐒) interventions. Alongside this, participants also conducted algae removal to help improve and maintain the condition of the aquatic environment. 🍃🐠

Through this activity, 𝘽𝙎𝙀𝙎 students were able to participate in fish sampling, species identification, documentation, ecological monitoring, and other field-related activities that strengthened their knowledge and hands-on experience in 🌎 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and biodiversity assessment. 💚

The BS Environmental Science 4th Year students successfully conducted their 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 earlier today at the 𝙊𝙘𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙡𝙡, showcasing innovative and sustainable concepts for the 𝙧𝙚-𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 through their miniature models as part of their final requirements.

Date: April 8, 2026

𝐆𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 facilitated a whole-day Seminar-Workshop entitled 𝙇𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 for the third-year Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science students. The activity was held at the 𝐙𝐒𝐂𝐌𝐒𝐓 𝐋𝐑𝐂–𝐀𝐕𝐑, Site A, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The seminar highlighted essential skills in ecological photo documentation and basic camera techniques such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. These are important in capturing accurate environmental data while practicing proper and ethical documentation in the field.

The theme, “𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒄𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑬𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈,” emphasizes how every captured image can serve as reliable scientific evidence when done with precision, consistency, and responsibility.
