The 𝟔𝟐𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐍𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔) 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐝𝐞 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 proudly held the Reception Rites Ceremony for the Basic Midshipman Officer Candidate Course (BMOCC) Class off 2026 on March 29, 2026 at the Institute of Human Kinetics (IHK), Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City. The ceremony signified their formal entry into the ROTC officers , where character is strengthened, leadership is cultivated, and commitment to service helps build future leaders into capable citizens who serve with honor and integrity.

The ceremony was honored by 𝐋𝐓𝐉𝐆 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐳 𝐒 𝐋𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐏𝐍, 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝟔𝟐𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐝𝐞 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 who served as the Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker, delivering a motivational speech to the future naval officers. The event was successfully led by the Training Staff, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐍𝟐 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚 𝐏𝐍 with the support of 𝐌𝐌/𝐋𝐓 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝟎𝟏𝐂𝐋 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫, and the 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟔𝟐𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔 𝐔𝐙 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the heartfelt message delivered by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐅. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐬, 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, who encouraged the Class of 2026 to embrace excellence and guide others with unwavering integrity. Also present during the reception rites were 𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐃. 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 and 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐀.
