The Nursing Quality Seminar-Workshop 2025 is more than just an academic event, it is a journey of growth, reflection, and empowerment for the senior nursing students of Pilar College of Zamboanga City. Rooted in the values of the Ignacian Marian Community, this seminar-workshop highlights the essence of Nursing Leadership and Management, preparing future nurses to lead with competence, integrity, and compassion.

Senior year marked another defining moment for the Doma Celestia Batch. Known for its intensity and high expectations, the successful performance of 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 (𝑨𝑪𝑳𝑺) was both a challenge and a milestone. While the activity tested their knowledge, skills, and composure under pressure, the batch was able to successfully carry it through. With God's grace, determination, and teamwork, they met the challenge with strength and came out with greater confidence and growth. The constructive feedback from the panel was taken as a valuable opportunity to learn, improve, and enhance their clinical skills.

On July 25,2025, 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 conducted it's official RLE Orientation for the 4th year Nursing Students in Pilar College of Zamboanga City at the Mother Ignacia Gymnasium.

A thorough introduction of the hospital's operations, including its specialized wards, administrative framework, medical personnel, and clinical procedures, was provided during the orientation. In order to prepare them for their clinical immersion, students received briefings on important hospital regulations, safety protocols, and professional standards.

Hand hygiene is a basic practice that stops dangerous illnesses from spreading, and it is the first step to safety in every healthcare setting. Everyone is accountable for preventing and controlling infections. This covers protocol observance, hygiene, and appropriate PPE use. We safeguard not only our patients but also ourselves and our coworkers by adhering to these procedures. Awareness, accountability, and persistent action are the first steps toward safety. Let's make all effort to create a safer hospital matter.

The motivational speech given by 𝑴𝒔. 𝑺𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒚𝒍 𝑽. 𝑻𝒂𝒅𝒐 from ZCMC, who urged student nurses to lead with compassion, dedication, and integrity in their future practice, was a major highlight of the program.

A responsible, value-driven clinical experience in one of the top healthcare facilities in the area was made possible by the event, which was a major turning point in the nursing education of PCZC students.

To gear up nursing students for their upcoming Related Learning Experience (RLE) duties, the 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐙𝐂𝐇𝐎) conducted an orientation at the PCZC Gymnasium for BSN level 2,3, and 4 students, on July 25, 2025. This event, is a vital stepping stone, particularly for Level 2 students as it marked the beginning of their transformation from classroom learners to first real-world experience.

Esteemed resource speakers, 𝑴𝒓𝒔. 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒛𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒓𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒓. 𝑴𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒆𝒍 𝑩𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒐, led the session, sharing their valuable insights and expertise. Their presentations covered various topics intended to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application. It served as a guide to ensure they are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and protocols before deployment.

The orientation was more than just a lecture, it was an invaluable investment in the future of healthcare in Zamboanga City. It aimed not only to inform but also to inspire students to embrace their roles in the healthcare field with confidence and readiness. Hence, the committment shown by ZCHO and PCZC reflects their dedication to produce compassionate, competent, and capable of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

On July 19, 2025, Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc. conducted its official Related Learning Experience (RLE) Orientation for 3rd- and 4th-year nursing students of the Philippine College of Zamboanga City (PCZC) at the Mother Ignacia Gymnasium.

The orientation served as a comprehensive introduction to the hospital’s operations—covering its specialized wards, administrative structure, healthcare staff, and clinical protocols. Students were briefed on essential hospital rules, safety guidelines, and professional expectations to prepare them for their clinical immersion.

A key highlight of the program was the inspirational talk delivered by Mr. Jay F. Gaspar from ZamPen, who encouraged student nurses to lead with compassion, commitment, and integrity in their future practice.

The event marked a significant step in the nursing journey of PCZC students, laying the foundation for a responsible, value-driven clinical experience within one of the region’s leading healthcare institutions.
