Several CHED regional offices have started accepting online applications—baka isa na d'yan ang region mo! 👀

Requirements (basic lang!):
🟡 PSA Birth Certificate
🟡 Form 138 / Report Card
🟡 Proof of income (ITR, Non-filer cert, or OFW docs)

Several regional offices of the Commission on Higher Education have opened the online application for the CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) for Academic Year 2025–2026.

Documentary requirements for interested applicants:
— PSA/NSO Birth Certificate
— CTC of High School report card (Form 138)
— Income requirements (whichever is applicable):
1. Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of
2. Certificate of Tax Exemption/Non-Filer
3. Certified true copy of latest contract or proof of income (for children of OFWs and Seafarers)
4. Social Case Study Report issued by the City/Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD/MSWD)

The application period is currently ongoing and will remain open until June 20, 2025.

As of now, only CHED Regional Offices VIII, XI, XII, and Caraga have not yet announced the opening of the application.

✅ For incoming first-year students and those with earned college units

📝 Application Requirements:

- Completed CHED application form
- Notarized Scholar’s Commitment to Render Return Service Obligation
- Photocopy of birth certificate
- Certified true copy of Form 138 (for incoming freshmen)
- True copy of grades from latest term/semester (for college students with units)

📂 Income Requirements (submit whichever applies):

- Most recent ITR of parents/guardians
- BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption or Non-filer
- Barangay Certificate of Low Income/Indigence
- Case Study Report from MSWD or CSWDO

For OFW/seafarer children: recent contract or proof of income

For now, only students enrolled at the University of San Agustin under CHED Region VI are eligible — open to incoming first-year students and those with earned college units.
