ENGINEERING GRADUATE SCHOOL GOALS

To embrace a passion for lifelong learning, empowering students to continue with graduate education and/or embark on successful professional careers in industry leading to leadership positions;

To strengthen student research capabilities and engage in scholarly research congruent with the research agenda of the institution. To develop competent professionals who promote excellence in the production, advancement, and transmission of specialized knowledge and skills in engineering practice and community service. OBJECTIVES


MS Structural Engineering

The program educational objectives of the MS Structural Engineering program are to produce graduates who

· Demonstrate professional practice skills in a diverse cultural community and make proper judgment related to professional, ethical, managerial, economic, and other non-technical issues commonly encountered in the practice of structural engineering;

· Analyze multidisciplinary problems and adopt the most appropriate solution as well as to be able to conceive and design facilities and services to ensure optimum design efficiency;

· Strengthen research capabilities in undertaking scholarly research in the field of structural engineering for the advancement of knowledge. MS Environmental Engineering

The program educational objectives of the MS Environmental Engineering program are to produce graduates who

· Demonstrate competency in multidisciplinary skills in professional practices to address complex challenges in a progressively diverse and global society;

· Translate proficiently client’s requirements and technical needs into solvable tasks and synthesize solutions into actionable recommendations on engineering designs while upholding cultural sensitivity; and

· Strengthen research capabilities in undertaking scholarly research in the field of environmental engineering for the advancement of knowledge.

Graduate School Admission Test (GSAT) Schedule and Requirements

Reminders to all applicants:

1. Complete requirements must be submitted upon application. Those with incomplete requirements will not be entertained.

3. There is no online application and application through a proxy is not allowed either.

4. All exams will be administered physically/face-to-face subject to the strict observance of minimum health protocols.
