Sto. Niño Elementary School Holds First HPTA Meeting for SY 2024-2025
On August 9, 2024, Sto. Niño Elementary School conducted its first Homeroom Parents-Teachers Association (HPTA) meeting for the School Year 2024-2025. The meeting took place in the respective classrooms of the teachers and was attended by the parents and guardians of the learners.
During the meeting, participants were briefed on the school’s existing rules and regulations, with a particular emphasis on the inculcation of values in the learners—one of the key focuses of the school administration for the current school year. Other topics discussed included classroom rules for parents, overall school rules and regulations, the schedule for the flag ceremony every Monday, learners’ attendance and behavior in class, the conduct of home visitations, co-curricular activities, the grading system, guidelines on awards and recognition, and the localized school calendar.
In addition, the election of HPTA officers was held during the meeting. The newly elected officers took their oath immediately following the election.
This first HPTA meeting set the tone for a collaborative and well-organized school year, ensuring that parents, guardians, and teachers are aligned in their efforts to support the students' growth and development.
