๐๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ต๐ฐ๐ด ๐๐ช๐ต๐บ, ๐๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ต๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ณ 22, 2023 โ The ABM Club joined forces with SSLG and Metrian Student Leaders to host the SAGIP METRIAN 2023: The first Metrian Medical Mission. This event, held in celebration of World Teacher's Day and Elderly Filipino Week, offered a comprehensive range of 12 vital healthcare services to teachers, senior citizens, and students.
The event included services such as vital check, medical check-up, medicine distribution, dental check, glucose test, eye check-up for adults and students, distribution of reading glasses, HIV test, visual inspection of the cervix, free haircuts (Gupit), a feeding program, and teenage pregnancy and HIV awareness.
The success of this mission was made possible by the generosity of sponsors, including the Philippine Councilors League Reg.12, Lions Club International, Philippine Dental Association - General Santos City, Philippine Medical Association - General Santos City, Yu Optical Clinic, Prosel Pharmaceutical, ECE Marketing, Alman Pharmaceutical, Novomed Pharmaceutical, Zonta International, FPOP, KCC MALL OF GENSAN, and many more.
In the spirit of unity and service, this event not only celebrated these special occasions but also demonstrated the power of community support in making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Metrian looks forward to more activities that promote community well-being in the future.
