Our Field Instructors conducted agency visits and exploratory meetings to establish strong partnerships and ensure optimal learning environments for our 53 BSSW student interns.

We extend our deep gratitude to our host agencies and community partners for opening their doors to mentor the next generation of Registered Social Workers!

-A direct community outreach project serving 10-15 vulnerable senior citizens. We will provide free haircuts, food packs, essential medical supplies, and custom-printed shirts — addressing their immediate physical needs while making them feel valued, respected, and truly part of our community.

📌 “Healthy Mind Matters: Mental Health Awareness” proposed by: Shaola Nyl Regino BSSW2A CLASS REPRESENTATIVE

-A collaborative session featuring guest speakers and advocates who will lead stress management activities, share mental health resources, reduce stigma, and teach practical coping mechanisms for everyone.

📌 “Refresh & Recharge Day” proposed by: Lander Parreño & Glewin Matubang JSWAP OFFICERS

-A fun, half-day pre-semester mixer packed with light team-building games — a perfect way to bond, reset, and get fully prepared for a productive and successful 2nd semester ahead!

📌 “Tahanan at Tiwala: A Social Work Family Day Celebration” proposed by: Belmar Maja & David Lancelot Gayotin JSWAP OFFICERS

-Organized by the Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) Department, this activity strengthens bonds between students, their families, faculty, and staff. Through meaningful, interactive activities, we foster family connection, teamwork, communication, and unity across our Social Work community. It also gives parents the chance to engage deeper in their children’s academic journey and build closer ties with the department.

Every plan we make is rooted in service, care, and solidarity — living out what we truly stands for and we hope some more collaborations with the other programs/courses as we work hand in hand for greater impact this school year! 🤝
