Yesterday, May 9, 2026, The Catalyst attended 3 consecutive STEMposium seminars from educated speakers for Innovation, Ideation and Impact at UP Diliman to discuss deeply about scientific academic discussions and broaden perspectives on current developments in science with the theme of 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗢 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲. Starting tomorrow, March 4 to 5, 2026 the Annual Retreat of Grade 6 and Grade 10 will start, on the way to Tagaste Retreat House, Tagaytay City. Next up is that, the retreat of Senior High School Students on March 5 to 7, 2026. The retreat is to provide the graduating students with time and space for spiritual renewal, self-reflection, and personal growth. To reflect on their life choices, values, and responsibilities as they prepare to complete an important chapter of their academic journey and move forward to new beginnings.

Their courage proved that in times of 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 and 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 can overcome fear.

This historic event continues to inspire us. It reminds us that the pursuit of freedom and democracy does not end in a single moment—it is a responsibility carried by every generation.
