25 April 2026 (Saturday) has been declared as a Special Non-Working Holiday in Nueva Ecija in commemoration of the Founding Anniversary of the province.

In line with this, all synchronous classes (both face-to-face and online), asynchronous activities, on-campus office transactions, and OLFU Concierge services at OLFU Nueva Ecija are suspended on April 25th.

The University honored its newest doctors through a 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗻, led by the College of Medicine’s distinguished faculty and dedicated staff, on 22 April 2026 at the Assembly Hall of the RISE Tower, OLFU Valenzuela.

The program featured an inspiring message from University President, Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez, recognizing the perseverance and purpose of every OLFU MD.

A highlight of the event was the heartfelt Message of Gratitude and Inspiration from the Physicians Licensure Examination (PLE) passers, whose stories reflected resilience and passion, motivating future physicians about to follow in their footsteps.

The celebration was also enriched by insights from Dr. Raymund Verano Ollero of FUMC-Valenzuela and concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Arnel V. Herrera of the Family Medicine and Community Health Department.

OLFU College of Pharmacy records yet another strong performance in the Licensure Exams! 💊✨

The OLFU College of Pharmacy celebrates back-to-back remarkable coups in the latest Pharmacists Licensure Examination.

Leading this achievement is 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟴 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗠. 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆, 𝗥𝗣𝗵 (93.08%) from the 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘇𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, alongside the campus’ recognition as the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟮 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗕) with an 84.62% passing rate.

Results from the PRC-administered exam also showed that across all six campuses—Valenzuela, Quezon City, Antipolo, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, and Laguna—each recorded passing rates higher than the national benchmarks.

Collectively, OLFU also surpassed national passing rates (NPR):
* 78.45% overall passing rate (vs. 57.26% NPR)
* 91.45% passing rate for first-time takers (vs. 70.39% NPR)

The OLFU College of Criminal Justice – Forensic Science Program took part in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing for the 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵, a collaborative initiative with the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines and the University of the Cordilleras as the lead institution.

Held on 16 April 2026, at the University of the Cordilleras Theater in Baguio City, the event gathered select academic institutions committed to advancing forensic science education and practice, with OLFU CCJ Forensic Science among those invited to be part of this significant collaboration.

Through this MOA, the Forensic Science faculty will gain valuable opportunities for international hands-on training in:
🧬 DNA Analysis
🖐️ Friction Ridge Examination
🦴 Forensic Anthropology

Representing OLFU was Dr. Princess Alyssa Tee-Anastacio, Program Head of Forensic Science, together with faculty delegates Jessica Mae Monzon and Stanley Jason Cordero.

The event was facilitated by Chad Kinnear, Deputy Director of Public Engagement, Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines.
