Institutional Court of Honor 2026 🎖️
The Boy Scouts of the Philippines of Disiplina Village – Bignay National High School successfully conducted its First Institutional Court of Honor, a meaningful ceremony that recognized the achievements, dedication, and advancement of our scouts. This special event celebrated the hard work, discipline, and commitment of our young scouts as they continue their journey in scouting.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to SL Joseph Tanagan , WBH, Institutional Head, for his continuous support to the scouting program. We also thank Mrs. Hilda A. Galicia, Math Head Teacher, for delivering the inspiring opening remarks that set the tone of the program. Our appreciation is also extended to SL James S. Anor for sharing a meaningful inspirational message that encouraged and motivated the scouts. We are equally grateful to Sct. John Carlo B. Sagun for being our guest and for delivering another inspiring message to our young scouts. Lastly, we would like to thank SL Mark Louie L. Panal for allowing Sct. Sagun to attend and be part of this significant occasion.
Furthermore, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to SL Joan Daco and SL Sonny Lanuza for their valuable guidance and support in organizing and conducting the Court of Honor. Their assistance greatly contributed to the success of this meaningful scouting event.

First Step in Leadership: DVBNHS Senior Scouts Join the Council Scout Youth Forum ⚜️
The Senior Scouts from Disiplina Village – Bignay National High School proudly participated in the Council Scout Youth Forum held on March 6–8, 2026 at Vicente P. Trinidad National High School.
Representing the school in this important gathering of young scout leaders were the following participants:

We also thank the teachers who excused the scouts from their classes, as well as the dedicated adult leaders who guided and supported them throughout the event.

Empowering Our Scouts Through Self-Defense! 💜🥋
Last March 8, 2026, the Senior Scouts of Disiplina Village – Bignay National High School actively participated in the Basic Self-Defense Training for Youth held at the AVR Room, New City Hall in celebration of Women’s Month.
The seminar provided our scouts with valuable knowledge and practical techniques on personal safety, awareness, and self-defense. It aimed to empower the youth—especially young women—to build confidence, protect themselves, and respond effectively in challenging situations.
Through this meaningful activity, our Senior Scouts strengthened their commitment to the values of discipline, preparedness, and service, while promoting safety and empowerment in the community.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Sir Joseph Tanagan, School Principal, for allowing the scouts to attend this meaningful activity. Our heartfelt thanks as well to Ma’am Ernalyn Maglangit for providing the transportation service, and to Sir Isaac de Luna for accompanying and guiding the scouts throughout the event.
Your support and dedication greatly contribute to the growth and development of our young scouts.

A Milestone of Leadership: First Board of Review (BOR) for Senior Scouts at Disiplina Village – Bignay National High School ⚜️
Today, we proudly conducted the First Board of Review (BOR) for our Senior Scouts at Disiplina Village – Bignay National High School, under the guidance of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
A total of 35 Senior Scouts participated in this significant milestone:
• 25 Explorer Scouts
• 3 Pathfinder Scouts
• 7 Outdoor Scouts
This meaningful activity allowed our Scouts to demonstrate their growth in leadership, skills, character, and commitment to the Scout Oath and Law. The Board of Review is not merely an evaluation, but a celebration of their dedication, perseverance, and continuous development in Scouting.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supportive School Principal Doc Joseph Tanagan for approving and supporting this important activity.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to the six Board of Review panel namely: SL Joan Daco, SL. Jesther Conde, SL. Ann Cabanting, SL. Ian Eric Estopase, Sct. John Carlo Sagun, and Sct. Aldrin Tomas for generously sharing their time, wisdom, and encouragement.
To all our adult leaders, thank you for your unwavering dedication, guidance, and commitment in mentoring and shaping our Scouts into disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented individuals. Your leadership truly makes a difference.
Special thanks to SL. Norman Panelo and SL. Jobert Siwagan for signing important documents and for sharing valuable knowledge and learnings with our Scouts. Your support and contribution greatly enriched their Scouting journey and inspired them to continue striving for excellence

🏕️🔥 School-Based Camping 2026 | Senior Scouts 🔥🏕️
Last February 20-21, 2026, the new Senior Scouts of Disiplina Village - Bignay National High School successfully held their School-Based Camping filled with adventure, teamwork, and leadership in action!
Organized under the guidance of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, the activity strengthened the scouts’ skills in camping, first aid, knot tying, cooking, and patrol system. More than the outdoor challenges, the experience built camaraderie, discipline, and a deeper sense of responsibility among our young leaders.
From setting up tents to sharing stories during fellowship time, every moment was a lesson in cooperation and perseverance. Truly, this camping was not just about surviving outdoors—it was about growing together as a team.
Congratulations to our new Senior Scouts for your active participation and enthusiasm! May this experience inspire you to continue serving with commitment and pride. ⚜️💚
