The Philippine College Foundation Supreme Student Council (SSC), in partnership with the Gender and Development Office (GAD), spearheaded by our GAD Focal Person, Ma’am Madell C. Tumambing, successfully conducted the Women’s Month Celebration on March 25, 2026. The celebration encouraged students, faculty, and staff to wear purple as a symbol of support for women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the recognition of women’s contributions to society.

The event created a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere across the campus, highlighting the importance of unity and awareness in promoting women’s rights. As part of the celebration, treats were given to everyone, bringing joy and appreciation to the PCF community.

In addition, exciting activities such as the On-the-Spot Poster Making and Logo Making Contests were conducted, showcasing the creativity and talents of the students. These activities not only added color to the celebration but also emphasized the significance of artistic expression in advocating for women’s empowerment.

In celebration of National Women’s Month, all students, faculty and staff are 𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙒𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙛𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙡𝙚 on March 25, 2026 as a sign of support for women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the recognition of women’s contributions to society. Purple, widely recognized as the official color of National Women’s Month, symbolizes justice, dignity, and women’s rights.

Through this simple gesture, the school community is encouraged to express solidarity and appreciation for the role of women in our families, workplaces, and communities. While creative expression is welcomed during these dates, all students are reminded to ensure that their attire remains appropriate and respectful. The existing school dress code policies will still be strictly observed to maintain order and professionalism within the campus. Faculty and staff members are likewise encouraged to participate by wearing purple while adhering to institutional guidelines on proper attire.

Let us all take part in this meaningful celebration with pride, unity, and continued respect for our school standards.
