Urdaneta City National High School proudly received the DLSU Bio Kit โ Build Your Own Tissue Culture Kit (BTC Lab Kit) from the De La Salle University-Center for Natural Sciences and Environmental Research (CENSER). This initiative supports the teaching of Life Sciences among Junior High School and Senior High School learners under the Schools Division Office of Urdaneta City.
The project, endorsed by Dr. Ma. Carme Ablan-Lagman, Project Leader of the Practical Genomics Laboratory, aligns with DepEd Region Iโs mission to nurture competent, values-driven, and lifelong learners. It highlights the importance of application-based learning that connects concepts in Biology, Chemistry, Practical Research, and Entrepreneurship.
Present during the turnover were Dr. Myla V. Lalicon, Education Program Supervisor in Science, Dr. Juan Catalan, Public Schools District Supervisor of Cluster 1, Dr. Antonino C. Rafanan, School Principal, Sir Harold Gray Padilla, Assistant Principal of JHS Academics, Dr. Venus D. Bernardino, Head Teacher of the Science Department, Science Teachers, and the STE Students of UCNHS.
This partnership reinforces UCNHSโs commitment to advancing quality science instruction and fostering research-based learning experiences for the youth of Urdaneta City.
