The Schools Division Office of Urdaneta City, through the Curriculum Implementation Division in partnership with Pangasinan State Universityโ€“Urdaneta Campus, College of Architecture and Engineering, conducted the "STEMBOT Robotics Research: 4-Day ESP32/ESP8266 Programming and IoT Training for Elementary and High School Special Science Teachers" on July 18 & 25 and August 1 & 8, 2026 at the Urdaneta City National High School Library.

The training enhanced the knowledge and skills of STE and SSES teachers in electronics, programming, and Internet of Things (IoT) through hands-on learning and practical STEM applications. Sessions were facilitated by PSU faculty members Engr. Ryndell T. Casem, Engr. Emmerson A. Canuel, Engr. Jay-Ar M. Pentecostes, and Dr. Rex B. Basuel, Dean of the College of Architecture and Engineering.

Thirty (30) Special Science teachers from the division's STE and SSES schools participated in the activity, including representatives from Urdaneta City NHS, Lananpin NHS, Badipa NHS, Urdaneta I Central School, Badipa ES, and Camanang ES.

In observance of National Flag Day, the learners of Urdaneta I Central School (UICS) and Urdaneta City SPED Center (UCSC) proudly participated in a Flag-Making Activity to honor the Philippine Flag and celebrate our nation's freedom.

As we honor our beloved flag, may it inspire us to uphold the values of freedom, respect, integrity, and love for our country. Let us proudly remember the sacrifices of our heroes and continue to be responsible citizens who contribute to a brighter future for the Philippines.

The checking and validation of test papers for the Phase 2 Admission Test are currently ongoing. The official results shall be posted as soon as the evaluation process is completed.

To ensure authenticity, transparency, and the integrity of the screening process, Sir Joel B. Caballero and Maโ€™am Myla V. Lalicon are closely monitoring the checking and validation procedures.

Today marks the conduct of the Phase 2 Admission Test for the incoming Grade 1 SSES Class for S.Y. 2026โ€“2027, participated in by the qualified examinees from the preliminary screening.

In accordance with the selection guidelines, only the Top 35 qualifiers shall officially comprise the Grade 1 SSES class for S.Y. 2026โ€“2027, while the remaining 35 pupils shall be accommodated in Section 1 class at UCSC.

The Orientation Session for the upcoming Phase 2 Admission Test was successfully conducted today. Parents and guardians were properly oriented on the guidelines and preparations for the said activity. Queries and concerns were appropriately addressed, and the session concluded in an organized and orderly manner.
