𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 || In a steadfast commitment to the Department of Education’s mandate for "𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬," Unisan District officially commenced its 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒔 today, March 23, 2026, at Santayana Elementary School.

This essential task represents a major milestone in the 2025–2026 End-of-School-Year (EOSY) proceedings, ensuring that every student’s academic records are maintained with total accuracy. The initiative follows District Memorandum No. 03-04 S. 2026, issued by 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙧 𝙍𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘽. 𝙎𝙤𝙣, 𝙋𝙝𝘿, confirming the district’s preparedness for the graduation and moving-up season.

The first day of checking focused on priority grade levels, specifically Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12. Under the guidance of the Division Checking Committee—led by Ma’am Ruth B. Son (PSDS)—members meticulously validated a wide array of essential documents. These included PSA Birth Certificates, SF 9 (Progress Report Cards), and SF 10 (Learner’s Permanent Academic Record), alongside critical promotion reports such as the SF 5. This rigorous validation process ensures that all student records are consistent, timely, and of high quality before they are finalized for the school year.

The success of the checking process relied heavily on the collective expertise of the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲. This dedicated group of school heads, master teachers, and coordinators from across the district worked in unison to provide thorough oversight.

The professional atmosphere at the venue reflected a shared goal: to facilitate a smooth transition for learners as they prepare to move to the next grade level or enter the professional world.

As the district looks ahead to the second phase of checking on March 25, 2026, for the remaining grade levels, this activity stands as a testament to the district’s theme: "United as One, Working as One, Unisan will Shine." Through this diligent attention to detail, the educators of Unisan District continue to uphold the integrity of the educational system, ensuring that every student’s hard work is accurately reflected in their official records.

A shared commitment to literacy took center stage at Unisan Central Elementary School today, March 18, 2026, as the district hosted the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program Community Assembly.

The event was held under the guidance of Public Schools District Supervisor Ruth B. Son, who emphasized the importance of community-driven support in elevating student achievement. Leading the technical facilitation was Emerose Kong, Social Welfare Assistant from DSWD IV-A. Ms. Kong provided stakeholders with a comprehensive overview of the tutoring framework, highlighting how the partnership between social welfare and education can create a more robust support system for struggling readers.

By the end of the assembly, educators and community members in the Unisan District moved forward with a unified plan to implement these localized tutoring strategies. This collaborative effort ensures that learners receive the targeted intervention necessary to master foundational literacy skills.

Ang 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 ay buong pusong nakikiisa sa masayang pagdiriwang ng 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗟𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Sa pagkakataong ito, hindi lamang tayo nagsasaya, kundi atin ding binibigyang-pugay ang malalim na kasaysayan ng ating bayan—ang ika-150 taon bilang Unisan at ang ika-448 taon bilang Kalilayan.

Hangad namin ang isang ligtas, makulay, at punong-puno ng inspirasyong kapistahan para sa lahat. Nawa’y ang pagdiriwang na ito ay magsilbing paalala ng ating mayamang kultura at angking galing ng bawat Unisanin.
