Maraming salamat sa Ronald McDonald House Charities Philippines at McDo PH for bringing this wonderful gift to our community!

We recently attended the turnover of the newly built Ronald McDonald Bahay Bulilit Center in Brgy. Putatan! Under ECED Muntinlupa, our social workers and volunteers will use play and interactive games to teach basic skills and prep our kids for school.

This aligns perfectly with our city’s Womb to Work program. Together, we are building a stronger foundation for early childhood care, ensuring our kids are supported every step of the way.

Dati rin akong naging McDo crew, kaya damang-dama ko kung paano nagtatagal sa buhay ang aral ng disiplina at serbisyo. I hope this center becomes a place where our young kids learn those same lifelong values and start chasing their big dreams!

𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐚’𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Lumahok sa four-day training program sa Busan, South Korea mula August 30 hanggang September 2 sina Committee on Education Chairperson Coun. Jedi Presnedi, Early Childhood Education Division (ECED) Head Ms. Jenny Mercado, at child development teacher Ms. Johannes May Saclayan, upang pag-aralan ang mga programa ng South Korea para sa early childhood education at childcare.

Bumisita ang delegasyon sa iba’t ibang daycare centers, kindergartens, childcare support facilities, at children’s educational complexes upang makita ang mga good practices sa inclusive learning, hands-on education, cultural learning, at support systems para sa mga bata at pamilya.

Ang mga natutunan mula sa Korea ay dagdag na kaalaman sa Muntinlupa para sa patuloy na pagpapahusay ng early childhood programs.

Naniniwala si Mayor Ruffy Biazon na ang pamumuhunan sa edukasyon ay pamumuhunan din sa kinabukasan ng bawat batang Muntinlupeño. Kaya sa ilalim ng kanyang 7K Agenda, walang batang dapat mapag-iwanan. “Education for all means creating opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive, mula early childhood hanggang sa iba’t ibang yugto ng buhay,” ayon kay Mayor Biazon.

Nag-observe tayo sa pilot class ng Inclusive Learning Resource Center (ILRC): Sentrong Kayayahan—ang facility na itinayo natin for Muntinlupeño children with special needs.

Sa pilot batch, we had a total of 39 kids referred by our Early Childhood Education Division after showing red flags or delays in their development.

Sasailalim sila sa series ng interactive learning sessions at physical activities sa ilalim ng Domain Mastery Program (DMP). Tina-target nitong ma-develop 'yung pitong key areas ng paglaki at pagkatuto ng bata. Pinakamaganda rito, libre ang lahat.

Through DMP, dito rin sila mae-evaluate para matukoy kung anong interventions ang pinakaangkop sa kanilang pangangailangan.

At ang goal natin ay mapalawak pa ang capacity ng ILRC para mas maraming bata at pamilya ang magkaroon ng libreng access sa assessment at interventions na kailangan nila.

ECED learners naman natin ang tumanggap ng Libreng Balik Eskwela Package nila.

Bukod sa basic school supplies, may kasama rin itong water bottle, worksheets, at Family Support Module para sa mga magulang. Maganda pa doon sa module kasi may tips ito kung paano maagang matukoy ang developmental red flags para agad mabigyan ng tamang intervention ang bata kung kinakailangan.

Ramdam pa rin ng maraming pamilya ngayon ang epekto ng mataas na presyo ng mga bilihin. Kaya hangga't may magagawa ang City Government para mabawasan ang gastusin ng mga magulang, tutulong po tayo.
