📌Mga Dapat Gawin Bago, Habang, at Pagkatapos ng Lindol

Bago ang Lindol (Kahandaan sa Paaralan at Tahanan)

1. Maghanda ng Emergency Go-Bag: Maglagay ng potable water, non-perishable na pagkain, flashlight, extrang baterya, first aid kit, at mga importanteng dokumento.
2. I-secure ang mga Gamit: Siguraduhing nakabitin nang maayos ang mga mabibigat na paintings o cabinets. Huwag maglagay ng mga babasagin sa matataas na lugar.
3. Regular na Earthquake Drills: Makilahok sa mga simulation drills upang maging pamilyar sa mga evacuation routes at ligtas na lugar.

Habang Lumilindol (Duck, Cover, and Hold)

1. Duck: Yumuko o lumuhod malapit sa sahig.
2. Cover: Takpan ang iyong ulo at leeg (o ang buong katawan) gamit ang matibay na mesa o ang iyong mga braso.
3. Hold: Kumapit nang mahigpit sa iyong pinagtataguan hanggang sa tumigil ang pagyanig.

*Kung nasa labas: LUMAYO sa mga puno, kuryente, poste, at matatayog na gusali. Pumunta sa mga BUKAS NA LUGAR O OPEN AREAS.
*Kung nasa loob ng gusali: Huwag gumamit ng elevator. Manatili sa loob kung nandoon ka na, at lumayo sa mga salamin o bintana.

Pagkatapos ng Lindol (Paglikas at Pagtutok)Maging Kalmado:

1. Suriin ang sarili at ang mga kasama kung may sugat.
2. Pumunta sa Evacuation Area: Isa-isang lumabas ng silid o gusali nang maayos at tahimik.
3. Sundin ang mga itinalagang daan ng mga awtoridad o g**o.
4. Makinig sa mga Awtoridad: Maging alerto sa mga posibleng aftershocks. Makinig sa mga update mula sa inyong lokal na pamahalaan at sa NDRRMC lalo na kung malapit kayo sa baybayin.

Sa ilalim ng DepEd Order No. 014, s. 2026, may apat na antas ng Learning Continuity upang matiyak na tuloy ang edukasyon habang inuuna ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o.

🟢 HAYO – Normal na pag-aaral
🟡 HINAY – Tuloy ang pagkatuto, ngunit may mas magaan na gawain
🟠 HINGA – Kapakanan at pagbangon ng mga mag-aaral ang prayoridad

Tropical Storm HAGUPIT
Issued at 11:00 PM, 07 May 2026
Valid for broadcast until the next bulletin at 11:00 AM tomorrow.

“HAGUPIT” MAINTAINS ITS STRENGTH AS IT MOVES WEST NORTHWESTWARD.

Location of Center (10:00 PM):
The center of Tropical Storm HAGUPIT was estimated based on all available data at 1,750 km East of Northeastern Mindanao (OUTSIDE PAR) (7.9°N, 142.2°E).

Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 80 km/h, and central pressure of 1002 hPa

Present Movement:
West northwestward at 10 km/h

Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:
Strong to gale-force winds extend outwards up to 280 km from the center

GENERAL OUTLOOK FOR THE FORECAST PERIOD
• HAGUPIT is forecast to move west northwestward during the majority of the forecast period. It will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between Saturday (09 May) evening and Sunday (10 May) morning and will be given the local name CALOY.
• In the next 24 hours, HAGUPIT will further intensify and may reach its peak intensity as a tropical storm. Afterwards, due to unfavorable environmental conditions, it will begin to weaken and may be downgraded to tropical depression by Monday evening (11 May) while over the Philippine Sea.
• HAGUPIT is less likely to directly affect the weather and sea conditions in the next 3 days.

Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for updates related to this tropical cyclone.

Unless there is an intermediate issuance, the next tropical cyclone advisory will be issued at 11:00 AM tomorrow.

Moderate to occasionally Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in (Alicia, Angadanan and Echague) which may persist within 30 mins to 1 hour and may affect nearby areas.

The above conditions are expected over (CityOfCauayan, Naguilian, BenitoSoliven, SanMariano, IlaganCity, SanGuillermo, Maconacon, Divilacan and Palanan) within the next 1 to 2 hours.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along mountain slope are advised for possible landslides mudslides, rockslides and flash flood.

Keep monitoring for updates.
