CSU CBEA Research and Extension

Congratulations to the faculty members of the College of Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy for winning 1st place in the 3rd Cagayan Valley CMCI Research Conference with the theme “Trailblazing Innovative and Competitive LGUs through Creative Research", of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 in partnership with the CHED Regional Office 2 .

The group headed by Asst. Professor Jaypee Alegado along with Dr Chona Agustin and Dr Ma Victoria Gannaban bested 7 other finalists with their research: 'Competitiveness and Internal Revenue Allotment of Local Government Units in Region 2: Inputs for Enhanced Local Policy Develipment.

They will be representing the region in the national CMCI competition next year.

Said innovative endeavor aimed to utilize the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) data in providing useful information, and informative conclusions and offer policy recommendations for the decision-makers through data research and analysis.

Monitoring and evaluation to our recepients of the negosyocart and business package beneficiaries at Barangay Annafunan East, Tuguegarao City.

JUST IN! December 2, 2023. Faculty members and students conducted an inception meeting with the Barangay Officials of Baràngay Tagga, Tuguegarao City regarding the Pamantasan, Mamamayan at Nayon (PAMANA) extension project of the college.

The PAMANA extension program seeks to establish a community-based business and enterprise development program in adopted communities to create job opportunities and generate income.

JUST IN: Congratulations to Mr. Chester Allan Samonte, a 4th year BS Legal Management student bagged a 2nd Place for Best Oral Presenter in the category of non- 3experimental research during the 4th Campus Student Research Congress held at CSU Hotel.

The title of their study is DATA PRIVACY ACCOUNTABILITY AND COMPLIANCE OF A CITY GOVERNMENT: BASIS FOR DATA PRIVACY MANAGEMENT.

Agustin presented a research paper during the Medan International Conference on Economics and Business 2023 (MICEB) sponsored by Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, Indonesia in cooperation with Cagayan State University, UST, MCN University Malaysia, and Universiti Teknologi Mara held on January 26, 2023.
