NextStep English — a growing group of Filipino ESL Tutors — is looking for dedicated, honest, and reliable ESL Tutors to teach Chinese students online.

💰 Salary & Payment

₱65 / 25 minutes for regular classes

Weekly salary

Paid trial class
(except the demo class, which is part of the hiring process)

📌 Tutor Requirements

✔️Able to provide own lesson materials

✔️Able to assess Chinese students’ English level and give appropriate lessons

✔️Honest, reliable, and committed

✔️Open to guidance and willing to share ideas for group improvement

🕒 Availability

✔️Can open peak hours: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

✔️Weekend availability is required

✔️One day off per week is allowed, if opted

💻 Technical Requirements

✔️Must have WeChat

✔️Must use VOOV Tencent Meeting (class platform)

✔️Quality headset (clear audio, no background noise)

✔️Working camera

✔️Stable internet connection

We are looking for dedicated and passionate ESL Tutors to join our growing team at NextStep English Tutorial Services! If you have a love for teaching and helping students improve their English skills, this opportunity is for you!

Job Requirements:
Experience:
- Must have at least 6 months of ESL teaching experience (online)
- Familiarity with teaching Chinese students is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and standard pronunciation
- At least college level

Technical Requirements:
- Computer/Laptop:Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent
- RAM: 8GB or more
- SSD storage for faster performance
- Internet: Minimum 10 Mbps (stable wired connection preferred)
- We**am & Headset: HD camera with noise-canceling microphone for clear communication
- Must have WeChat for communication.

Software Requirements:
- Classes and conferences are conducted on the VOOV app

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct 25-minute one-on-one English lessons for Chinese students.
- Provide short feedback to students after each class (no lengthy reports needed).
- Ensure students are engaged and making progress in their reading, listening, and speaking skills
- Adapt lessons according to the student's level and needs.
- Attend and participate in conferences as needed.
- Maintain professionalism in every class and manage your own absences responsibly

Compensation:
- PHP 65 per 25-minute class.
- Students' absences without prior notice will still be paid.
- Paid trial classes.
