This issue represents months of dedication, teamwork, and passion from the publication staff who worked to revive a tradition that has been absent for ten years. From campus news to student features, this paper is a testament to the spirit and talent of Rafaelians. 🔥

It began with a spark of defiance that grew into a sea of millions. From February 22 to 25, 1986, the world watched in awe as ordinary Filipinos—priests, students, workers, and families—reclaimed their dignity along the stretch of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue. With nothing but rosaries, flowers, and an unbreakable resolve, we faced down tanks and turned the tide of history without firing a single shot. 🕊️

Forty years later, that miracle at EDSA remains our North Star. Today, as we mark this milestone four decades in the making, we honor the courage that ended a period of darkness and gave birth to the democracy we breathe today. We remember the faces of those who stood their ground, the yellow ribbons that fluttered in the wind, and the singular voice of a nation saying, 'Enough.'

We do not just look back; we carry that flame forward. To those who say time erodes the truth: look at us now. Forty years have not dimmed our memory nor weakened our resolve. Our commitment to justice is unyielding. Our love for this land is unshakable. The fire lit in 1986 was passed to us, and we will guard it for all the generations yet to come. 🎗️

Today, our Friday devotion after Ash Wednesday became a meaningful moment of reflection as we were reminded of the call to repentance, humility, and spiritual renewal. As one community, we gathered in prayer and devotion, opening our hearts to God’s grace and mercy as we begin the Lenten season. It was a time to pause, reflect on our lives, and recommit ourselves to walking faithfully with Christ through prayer, sacrifice, and love for one another. ✝️💜

May today’s devotion continue to guide us throughout Lent as we grow deeper in faith and closer to God. 🙏

Today, Rafaelians gathered as one community of faith to begin the sacred season of Lent. As we receive the ashes on our foreheads, we are reminded of humility, repentance, and our call to renew our hearts before God. 🙏

May this Ash Wednesday lead every Rafaelian to deeper reflection, genuine conversion, and a stronger faith within prayer, sacrifice, and love. ❤️‍🔥

𝙎𝙍𝙋𝙎 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 👸🫅With confidence, grace, and school pride, our candidates shone brightly on stage, embodying the values and spirit of our community. Each moment of the coronation reminded us that true royalty is not only about appearance, but about character, leadership, and heart. 👑💙

🎉 As the crowns were placed and titles awarded, the celebration continued with an electrifying 🪩 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 🎶 — where laughter, music, and vibrant energy filled the evening. 💃🕺✨

𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 | 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙊𝙙𝙙𝙨, 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙀𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨

Every morning, long before the first bell rings, our teachers and members of the school community are already awake—and busy. They are busy preparing lessons, setting up rooms, opening school gates, and lugging loads heavier than the backpacks they carry on their shoulders. It is often said that the backbone of society is education. Yet the people who sustain it are often invisible, underpaid, and overburdened. Behind every lesson plan and polished classroom lies a story of sacrifice rarely seen by the public eye.

Teachers deal with overcrowded classrooms, lack of resources, and an unending amount of paperwork extending far beyond the actual school day. They dig into their own pockets to purchase chalk or markers to facilitate learning. The staff of the school—the janitor, the clerk, the security guards, and the teacher's aid—are often hidden and anonymous members of the group, doing their important work of maintaining safety, cleanliness, and order. Long hours, medium salaries, and lack of stability make the teacher's passion turn to burnout. Some educators go home questioning their worth, wondering if their efforts truly matter in a system that often fails to support them.

Other than the classroom, teachers take on the role of counselors, second parents, and lifelines to students who have burdens of their own. They respond to the quiet pleas, cope with a dysfunctional system, and receive condemnation from all quarters: parents, administrators, and the wider society, all the while needing to retain a high degree of patience and compassion. Burnout is real, and the dream of teaching is sometimes buried under stress, fatigue, and disillusionment.

Yet, despite the hardships, hope continues to walk into classrooms every day. It appears in a student who finally understands a difficult lesson, in a shy child who learns to speak with confidence, and in a graduate who returns to say, “Thank you.” Teachers and school personnel endure not because the work is easy, but because they believe in the power of education to change lives. In every tired smile and every lesson taught with love, there lives a dream—that education will one day be valued as much as those who dedicate their lives to it.
