As part of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), Teresa National High School conducted its Seminar on Gender-Fair Education with the theme โ€œUnited for a VAW-Free Philippinesโ€ today, November 27, 2025.

A total of 823 students from Grades 7 to 10, together with the schoolโ€™s teaching and non-teaching personnel, participated in the event.

This campaign emphasizes the need for a whole-of-nation approachโ€”calling on every Filipino, regardless of gender, age, or background, to speak up and take action to prevent violence, support survivors, promote justice, and push for meaningful change.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to PSSg Arlene M. Barde, WCPD Investigator, and Maโ€™am Naty Cruz, Guidance Counselor, for their meaningful and insightful discussions, which deepened our understanding of gender sensitivity, rights, and responsibilities.

With strengthened awareness and collective commitment, we take another step toward building a truly VAWC-free community.

Let us remain committed to advocacy, empowerment, and compassion as we work hand in hand for a future where every woman, girl, and children feels safe, valued, and protected.
