A truly inspiring and knowledgeable two-day experience unfolded at Gems Hotel, Antipolo City, during the Regional Convention Festival hosted by PSA Region IV-A CALABARZON. Participants from all URS campuses, especially URS–Taytay Campus, joined alongside various Municipal LGUs across the Province of Rizal. More than just a competition, the event highlighted knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and the spirit of community.

Representing URS–Taytay Campus were students Annielou O. Bacudo, Diane Christine P. Pangilinan, Lorraine Jasmin Aralar, and Tristan Khirt M. Ocampo, guided by Dr. Richard H. Manalastas.

The team proudly brought home three medals during the CBMS Regional Convention Festival:

🏅 3rd Place in On-the-Spot VIZWIZ

This achievement reflects the hard work of the students and the strong support of their mentor. Padayon, URS–Taytay! 💪

URS Taytay College of Nursing 12th Capping, Pinning and Candle-Lighting Ceremonies

The University of Rizal System – Taytay Campus, College of Nursing held its 12th Capping, Pinning, and Candle-Lighting Ceremonies on August 12, 2025 at the Casimiro A. Ynares Sr. Auditorium, Binangonan, Rizal with the theme “Illuminating Pathways: Embracing the Legacy of Nursing Excellence.”

The event was highlighted by the presence of Hon. Mary Ann Chan, Education Supervisor II of CHEDRO IV-A, who served as the keynote speaker. Faculty members, parents, and guests also attended to witness this meaningful occasion.

The ceremony marked an important milestone for the student-nurses as they dedicated themselves to the nursing profession, carrying with them the values of compassion, service, and excellence.
