Yes, this is meant to be a chain message. I apologize in advance.

These days, our world is twisted. Our concepts of right and wrong are being challenged countless times, sometimes multiple times in a day. The way we get governments to move is also very different from how formal protocol and decorum once dictated things to be done.

We may have different political views but if you agree that what happened to ABS-CBN is neither fair nor right, please use the image below as your profile picture for at least 1 week starting today, 6th of May.

This is meant to do 3 things:
-be a sign of protest to this injustice
-a call for action
-and an expression of solidarity and support to those who will be greatly affected by the closure of businesses and services outsourced by ABS-CBN.

I know the government says they are doing their job and this pandemic is exhausting all of us. But they have to do better.
And this shouldn't have happened now.
They should have known better.

This is not an act pushing for destabilizing the government. This is a wake up call. I do not want you to lose focus on the more pressing matters but this is not a fight I started, they did.

Make your government do the work they made an oath to do.
Shed your preferred colors and take a stand to keep at least this component of your being a Filipino intact.

I hope you can stand with me.
