In this session held yesterday, September 9, our JHS student leaders were reminded that leadership is not about chasing positions or proving worth—it begins with knowing who you already are in Christ. 💡✨

🔑 Key Lesson:
You don’t lead to gain identity—you lead because your identity in Christ is already secure.

💬 “A leader who knows their identity doesn’t need to fight for position.”
True confidence isn’t built on applause, titles, or authority, but on being anchored in God’s calling and design. 🙌

Through this powerful COSAL 2 gathering, our leaders were challenged to:

In today’s fast-paced world, students are often quick to judge—especially in online and public spaces. During our first-ever COSAL held last August 5, 2025, we trained our JHS club leaders to slow down, look deeper, and lead with wisdom and discernment. 👁️🧠

Anchored in 1 Samuel 16:7,
“People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart,”

the session reminded our young leaders that true leadership starts not with performance or appearance, but with a heart aligned to God’s vision. ❤️‍🔥

We were honored to have Sir Ivan Busto, our very own Sal-ay mentor, as the keynote speaker. His wisdom and passion sparked powerful reflection on the leadership blindspot—jumping to conclusions without context, and reacting faster than we reflect. 🧭

Through this formative session, our leaders were challenged to:
✔️ Lead beyond surface impressions
✔️ Develop spiritual discernment
✔️ Be courageous enough to see what others miss
