The spirit of Scouting was alive and vibrant as Bago Elementary School proudly conducted its Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) School Camporee 2025 on October 21, 2025, with the inspiring theme, “A Call for Leadership, Unity, and Service.”

The School Camporee 2025 stood as a memorable reminder that leadership is not about authority, but about service and unity.

📍 School Portfolio Day

Bago Elementary School proudly hosted its highly anticipated School Portfolio Day on August 30, 2025. This event showcased the hard work, creativity, and academic growth of our learners throughout the First Quarter of the SY 2025-2026.

It was an amazing opportunity to celebrate their progress and achievements from the start of the school year.

Thank you to our dedicated teachers and supportive parents for making this day special.

A big congratulations to all our learners for their hard work and dedication! We look forward to seeing even more growth in the coming months.

Isang makulay at makabuluhang pagtatapos ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa at Buwan ng Kasaysayan ang ginanap sa Bago Elementary School!

Masiglang nakiisa ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, at magulang sa iba't ibang patimpalak na isinagawa.

Isang malaking pagbati sa lahat ng lumahok at nagwagi! Higit sa lahat, salamat sa patuloy na pagsuporta ng buong paaralan sa pagsusulong ng ating wikang pambansa at kasaysayang Pilipino.

Mainit nga pasalamat sa among mga ginikanan, Barangay Officials, Tanods and other volunteers sa ilang walay puas nga suporta ug kooperasyon atol sa atong Dagyaw nga gipahigayon sa Bago Elementary School.

Padayon ta sa pag-alagad ug paghugpong isip usa ka komunidad alang sa kaayohan sa atong mga kabataan sa Bago Elementary School ug sa kalamboan sa atong barangay.

Kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ng buong bansa sa pagkilala at pagtatampok sa wikang Filipino at mga katutubong wika bilang mahalagang salik sa pagkakaisa ng bansa.

Patuloy na itinataguyod at pinagyayaman ng DepEd ang wikang Filipino at mga katutubong wika bilang instrumento sa pagkatuto at simbolo ng pagkakakilanlan ng bansa.

Bago Elementary School proudly celebrated the Nutrition Month Culmination 2025. This year’s theme emphasized the importance of prioritizing food and nutrition security as a fundamental right for every Filipino: “Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Nutrisyon, Karapatan Natin!”

Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental — 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 "𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐨" 𝐋. 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚 has issued Executive Order No. 10, Series of 2025, declaring the suspension of classes in all levels in both public and private educational institutions across Negros Oriental. This action comes amid ongoing heavy rains and flooding resulting from the intensified southwest monsoon and Tropical Depression "Crising," which have significantly affected various municipalities and cities within the province.

The executive order aims to prioritize the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and school personnel by preventing potential hazards posed by the inclement weather. The suspension is effective immediately and will remain in force until further notice.

Key Details of Executive Order No. 10, Series of 2025:

Purpose:
To safeguard the health, safety, and property of the residents amid heavy rains and flooding.

Legal Basis:
Based on Section 2 of Presidential Executive Order No. 66 (2012) and Section 16 of Republic Act No. 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991), empowering local government units to take necessary actions during disasters.

Coordination:
Implemented in coordination with the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
