As we wrap up the final #𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 of 2026, we look back to go forward. 🌿✨

Our sub-theme, ❞𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙨, 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨,❞ reminds us that leadership isn't just about titles—it’s about healing, protecting, and empowering our communities. Just as the Babaylans once stood as the heartbeat of our tribes, today’s Filipina leads with wisdom, courage, and a spirit that cannot be shaken. 🇵🇭💜

CCT Trailblazers: Growth Beyond the Game 🏀

Last March 21, at Silungang Bayan, the CCT Trailblazers Women’s Basketball Team proudly participated in a Women's In Sports 3x3 basketball competition. In line with the request of the LGU Sports Department, two teams were formed by their playing coach, Prof. Antoinette A. De Los Santos — the CCT Varsity Players and the CCT Alumni.

The competition followed a round-robin format with a total of 12 participating teams. The CCT Varsity Players competed in Bracket A, while the CCT Alumni were placed in Bracket B. Throughout the tournament, both teams went through a challenging series of 4–5 games, showcasing determination, teamwork, and resilience.

At the end of the elimination round, the CCT Varsity Players secured Rank 5 and narrowly missed a spot in the semifinals. On the other hand, the CCT Alumni advanced to the quarterfinals and fought hard until the end, finishing at Rank 4 in Bracket B.

Although the results may not have been what the teams initially aimed for, the experience brought valuable lessons, stronger teamwork, and deeper commitment to the sport. These are victories that go beyond the scoreboard.
