๐ŸŽฅ : A One-Minute Calculus Reel

As part of the Mini Performance Task (Mini PETA) in Basic Calculus, students were challenged to create a 1-minute to 1-minute and 30-second educational reel showcasing their understanding of the different concepts of limits of functions.

Working in pairs, each group was assigned a specific limit concept and tasked with presenting a clear, accurate, and creative mathematical explanation through a short-form educational video. This performance task aimed to strengthen students' conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, communication skills, and digital creativity while promoting academic integrity through the creation of original content.

The videos cover various topics, including limits through graphs and tables of values, limits of algebraic functions, limits at infinity, and limits of transcendental functions (exponential)โ€”providing fellow learners with simple yet effective strategies for understanding and solving limit problems.

The videos featured in this post are selected outputs chosen for public viewing based on their quality, clarity, and educational value. Each video presents a simple and easy-to-understand explanation of its assigned topic to help learners grasp key Calculus concepts in just a short amount of time. Rest assured that all featured videos have been reviewed and are appropriate for public sharing.

This classroom activity was facilitated by Sir Leslie Mirandilla, Basic Calculus Subject Teacher, as part of the school's commitment to integrating meaningful, technology-enhanced, and performance-based learning experiences.

๐Ÿ“šโœจ We invite everyone to watch, learn, and discover that Calculus can be explained in just one minute!

CLUB TIME IS GAME TIME! ๐Ÿงฎ๐Ÿงฉ

The D'Mathrix Club turned an ordinary club meeting into an exciting battle of Mathematics and reasoning as our D'Mathematicians tackled questions in Algebra, Abstract Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and other concepts commonly found in college admission examinations.

The activity was conceptualized by D'Mathrix Club President Mr. Jaden Izaac Panlilio, who prepared and flashed each question while members competed to give the correct answers. To make the game more interactive, the club's animator also took on the challenge by answering the same questions before explaining the correct solutions and the strategies behind them. This allowed members not only to enjoy the competition but also to understand the concepts after every round.

Congratulations to Mr. Garillo, a Grade 11 D'Mathematician, for emerging as the overall champion and taking home exciting prizes after demonstrating exceptional mathematical and reasoning skills.

With every question answered and every solution discussed, the D'Mathrix Club continues to prove that learning Mathematics can be both challenging and enjoyable. Review sessions become even more meaningful when everyone learns, competes, and grows together.
