Tarlac State University - Student Discipline Unit

On February 26, 2025, the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗦𝗗𝗨) organized a seminar on 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀' 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 at the Academic Building on the Lucinda Campus. The seminar was attended by students from the College of Business and Accountancy.

The guest speaker, Ms. Castillo, provided great insights into the necessity of knowing both students' rights and the duties that come with being a member of an academic community. The program focused on developing a culture of respect, ethical awareness, and accountability in the educational setting.

The 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗦𝗗𝗨), in partnership with the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, hosted a seminar on 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟬𝟲𝟮𝟳: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁 on February 13, 2025, at the Alumni Center, Lucinda Campus. The seminar was attended by 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 students from the 𝗧𝗦𝗨 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝗟. 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝘀, the guest speaker, shared valuable insights on how bullying affects students' well-being, mental health, and academic performance. He explained the laws that protect students, encouraged positive behavioral changes, and empowered bystanders to take action. Prof. Luis also emphasized the importance of open communication and support within the community.

We are delighted to introduce the latest organizational chart of the student development services comprising people who make sure that every student in Tarlac State University must be directed, assisted, and facilitated.

𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴:
𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭
Safeguarding disciplinary measures and as to ethical practices of the school, this unit monitors cases of bullying, sexual harassment, cheating, forgery of documents, and many others.

𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭
In support of our vibrant student activities, this unit oversees the accredited Student Councils and Organizations and assists in their nurturing as well as the process of activity approvals to ensure an active student community.

𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭
Cultivating the voices of TSU students, this unit supervises the Student Publications Organization and provides support as per the fulfillment of the approval of certain publication activities of these recognized clubs.

The College of Architecture and Fine Arts and College of Industrial Technology students attended the seminar on December 7, 2024, at the CCS AVR, San Isidro Campus, for two important talks about creating a safer and more respectful community. Ms. Allicia T. Leyva spoke about the Safe Spaces Act, helping everyone understand how we can all contribute to a campus where everyone feels valued and respected, and Ms. Crystal Cortez L. Castillo shared vital insights on preventing and addressing sexual harassment, empowering students with the knowledge to stand up for themselves and others.

The Student Discipline Unit is now issuing Certificates of Good Moral Character to all AB Psychology Graduates who will take the Psychometrician Board Examination.

Here are the instructions on how to get a Certificate of Good Moral Character.

1. Present your TOR, preferably an original copy (or scanned TOR), with remarks for Board Examination purposes to the Guidance and Counseling office at the Main Campus.
2. Fill out the request form for the issuance of a certificate of good moral character.
3. Pay the certificate fee at the cashier.
4. Present your receipt and request form to the Student Discipline Office, located on the Student Center at the Villa Lucinda Extension Campus.

The 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗦𝗗𝗨) organized a seminar on 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀’ 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 at the AVR Engineering Building, Tarlac State University. The seminar highlights the importance of fostering a healthy, respectful, and ethically conscious educational community. It aims to ensure that students are not only aware of their rights but also understand the responsibilities that come with being a part of the academic environment.

The Student Discipline Unit will hold a seminar on Students’ Rights and Wrongs on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the 2nd floor AVR Engineering Building, Main Campus.

The main goal of this seminar is to create awareness, foster understanding, and promote a sense of responsibility within the academic community.
