𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Another highlight of DASPECTRUM was the debate competition featuring fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Secondary Education majors in English and Mathematics, as well as the Bachelor of Elementary Education program.

Competing teams went head-to-head in intellectually stimulating debates, with BSE-English facing BSE-Mathematics on the topic “National Debt vs. Social Welfare” and BSE-English facing BEE on “Quality Education vs. Accessible Education

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The second GNED Day of Cavite State University–Tanza Campus, titled "DASPECTRUM," with the theme "Where Minds Grow and Disciplines Converge," took place on May 28. Simultaneous activities were held in the morning, including the Literary Festival, where second-year students showcased their cooking skills by presenting cuisines from different countries, as well as a poster-making contest, a life diorama exhibit, and a fitness relay.

Pinalawig ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ng Cavite State University – Tanza Campus ang botohan para sa Central Student Government (CSG) Elections 2026-2027 hanggang Mayo 25, matapos hindi maabot ang kinakailangang quorum sa itinakdang araw ng eleksyon.

Batay sa inilabas na Resolution No. 2026-1, umabot lamang sa 554 mula sa kinakailangang 690 boto, o katumbas ng 80.21% ng required turnout, ang natanggap na online votes pagsapit ng Mayo 22, alas-6 ng gabi.

Ayon sa COMELEC, mahalagang maabot ang “50% + 1” voter turnout requirement upang maging balido ang buong electoral process alinsunod sa Konstitusyon at By-Laws ng CSG. Kung hindi ito matutupad, maaaring maideklarang walang-bisa ang halalan at magdulot ng leadership vacuum para sa susunod na akademikong taon.

Dahil dito, agad na nagpasa ng resolusyon ang COMELEC, katuwang ang Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), upang ipagpatuloy ang botohan hanggang Mayo 25, 2026, alas-6 ng gabi.

Kasabay ng extension, inanunsyo rin ang paglipat mula sa purely online election patungo sa hybrid voting setup. Magkakaroon na rin ng face-to-face voting stations sa loob ng kampus upang mas mapadali ang partisipasyon ng mga estudyante at maiwasan ang pagkakabalam ng eleksyon.

Nanatili namang ipinatutupad ang campaign ban sa buong extension period. Mahigpit ding ipatutupad ng COMELEC ang cross-verification ng physical at digital records upang maiwasan ang anumang insidente ng double voting.

Ang naturang resolusyon ay opisyal na pinagtibay noong Mayo 22, 2026, sa botong 3 pabor, 0 tutol, at 0 abstain mula sa mga opisyal ng COMELEC.
